It’s a weird coincidence. Last year January 13th a Sunday after finishing my weekly Enlighten movie @ Sterling I was heading back rather tired. Suddenly something attracted me & this shooting was going on in CST 1st platform. I clicked a few shoots. Got bored & then went on cliking some kite boy shots.

Today (22nd Jan 2009) I was going through trailers of the famous "Slumdog Millionaire" & something struck me. After searching through my 250 GB external hard disk drive & some old DVD backups found the shoot I did that day & it’s none other than from the same movie "Slumdog Millionaire". Some shots from my shot.

Final shot of the same scene can be vewd here in.youtube.com/watch?v=RDC47NsoRE0

Jai Ho – Slumdog Millionaire

I saw the Hollywood-Oscar-show with the beautiful indian children winning a Oscar for "Slumdog Millionaire". For the beautiful actors of that film it seems to be the reality is changing in a dream because all the actors are coming from the slums of Bombay. And now in the slums of india a lot of people are singing "Jai Ho!", the hymn of the film. It means something like "let victory come".
I have photographed the two boys in Delhi by leaving a bus. I don´t like it to make pictures from above but I think it is one of the messages of the photo: degrading and arrogant in one. If I saw the Oscar-Show I remembered me of that scene and the two boys in India and I searched in my photos. "Jai ho!"
_________

"Jai ho!"
