  1. @IcarezDub : you can do one thing. Switch off your phone, remove your battery and then plug in the charger. THE LED will blink for once. Now insert your battery and switch on the phone.

    anw thanks again … ;}

  14. @redpitbull01 Im on the same boat as yourself however I am looking at windows phone as my next handset.
Meego is just a newer OS which does look really nice. Again nokia wont be supporting or releasing it for n900, but the n900 community will support it and make it available.

  15. @360NextLevel yeah. I’m selling the phone though. It’s a great phone but i just don’t like the fact that it’s not supported anymore and how nokia isn’t gonna update maemo anymore.
I’m not sure about relying on other developers either. I’m probably getting the Nexus S by google/samsung.
I’m not trying to jump the bandwagon by getting an android but at least it will still receive updates/support for the software.

Also, care to tell me anything you know about Meego and how it relates to the n900?

  16. @360NextLevel
    gr8 thx :)

  17. @A95J Quick Launch

  21. how do you budge up the ram? or is it just hypothetical?

  22. OMFG YOUR N900 SETUP LOOKS SO AWESOME! IM SO LOVING THIS POST..AND MY PHONE :D

  23. @holdXtoshoot Hey my n900 was designed in finland :>

  24. @earthboy071 SMS Counter, but I wouldn’t bother with it unless they have actually fixed it now.

  25. @1700tt Install nokia pc suite and the data cable driver and once it is installed you don’t need to open up nokia pc suite to access your files you can simply go into My Computer and see your phone listed once it is connected and it should be straight forward from there, just drag an drop or whatever you would like to do

  26. @panjgoori But it’ll not pass the drop test as my N900 has many, many times

  27. @bitchkiller96 its strange cuz n900 and n97 screen are almost the same . the n900 is quit better actually

  28. @midox212 i know WTFs up with that that’s not fare the iPhone has a better screen but the screen on the 97 would not scratch it’ll break xD

  29. @ehab007bob WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?! O.o

  30. u bastards

  31. Oh Science.

  32. This Is Crazy Man!!!! So F**ng Crazy

  33. typical dumb asain.

  34. A ‘Mobile PC’ N900 that can’t even work well in handling its own phone & sms function, what a shame…

Used to be a supporter ever since 3310, until tis MYR2k spent buying a HANGER …very last time for a Nokia, who sell experimental products & HANGER.

  35. N900′s Multitasking is an effective Endtask function.

N900 With the ‘X App is not responding, do you want to terminate’ 30 times a day , it’s even better than all the HANGERS add up in my cupboard!

No wonder Nokia works best with Microsoft, sure MS could help sorting the same issue they’ve solved years ago!

This is the piece of Sh*t I’ve bought from Nokia 9 months ago, wasted my MYR2k, getting back tons of frustration.

  36. STUPID.

  37. WHY!?

  38. microwave it

  39. @midox212 its screen is coverd with the plastic protecter man!!is it or not?

  40. whatS matter with you jon? you not even touch that iphone!

  41. @lancealexis Is no screen protector preinstalled on the N900

  42. Oh.. and this isn’t „science“, it’s just doing-random-shit-with-your-N900.. Any useful comparison’d need to apply a defined pressure with an object of a certain hardness and do the same to other phones in comparison (and yeah, I would agree that you used the blunt end of the key on phone 2 and didn’t touch the iphone).

@lancealexis the N900 at the top-right is under the real screen. The shipped protector had more visible print – you couldn’t see the screen like here with it on.
    I.

  43. this dude is a dumbass

  44. you really did not scratch the phone at all. you see n900 comes with a screen protector preinstalled on the unit. seeing the N900 mark on the top right opposite of the nokia logo on the screen means you still have the screen protector on.. hahaah give me your iphone lets see how hard the screen is if i stab a knife on it!!! LOL

  45. you must die for what you have done

  46. O God, it was like scratch on my heart… :-(

  47. put it on a bike and go downhill while recording

  48. you are a dick head!

  49. I want to get a Nokia n900 but there are smartphones that are disturbing me. They are HTC Desire S, Samsung galaxy S Super Clear LCD, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo and Nokia C6 01. I like the n900 because Android is kinda complicated to use and Symbian is too boring. I never tried Maemo.

  50. dude the key didn’t even touched the iphone.
