@octonate1 Of those two, the EVO Design is better, but the Conquer is not a bad phone at all.

@cheeeqo I think the EVO 3D is better all around than the EVO Design. On the other hand, the Design is a little smaller and lighter, so that might be important to you. But for overall power, display quality and „fun factor,“ the EVO 3D is one of the nicest phones around.

One thing I would miss about the EVO is the kick-stand. I mean we all have had our lazy days where we just want to put our head down and watch a movie.
I love the way the battery goes in! That is the first time I’ve ever seen that! Talk about innovative!

@89Poptarts The EVO Design is a little better than the usual starter phone, but it’s a reasonable choice for a starter.

@89Poptarts I have lots to do before I get to the EVO Design, unfortunately. It’s a good phone and is a fine starter EVO. It actually runs faster than the EVO 4G, so it is a worthy device.

@89Poptarts The EVO Design is newer and has faster hardware than the EVO 4G. If fast is important, then go with the EVO Design. If a bigger display is important, the EVO 4G is still a nice phone with a big display.

@xMcSwaggx Compared to the original HTC EVO 4G, the EVO Design is faster and has a higher-resolution display (480×800 vs 540×960). The Design’s display looks really sharp, but the original EVO 4G was pretty good, too. Overall, the EVO Design is smaller and lighter than the EVO 4G. I think the Design is pretty good, especially for a mid-priced device.

sms 160 chars split issue is more Sprint related then ROM.Its easy to fix.If somebody interested,just let me know.Im looking for testers to confirm.
Every single sense rom for the htc evo 4g the camera doesn’t take good pictures in low light like when there’s not that much light an the camcorder ALWAYS lags in EVERY single sense rom I have tried(I have tried more then 100 sense roms since I got my evo 4g) an that REALL sux cuz I LOVE sense 3.5 but the camcorder always lags in every sense rom for evo 4g:/ i wonder if someone will ever make a sense rom with 100% smooth recording but I don’t think so:/

I agree,camera is not perfect.Many things far from being perfect in this port.
I was running this rom for like 13 minutes I open the camcorder I wanted to see if the 1080p recording was 100% smooth but it wasn’t,it lag so I went back to my backup
