This is so awesome!!!!
-You don’t want to get mother started on governesses.
-We’re talking of governesses, Lady Ingram!
Edward, you shameless tease!
Ugh i hated that part where he was like: Why are you depressed?????
The whole part i was like: YOU EVIL EVIL PERSON! playing with her heart! MEANIEEE =PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Both his women have pushed up piggy noses. It’s a shame with so much great acting talent out there.
I think he got back at Blanche for acting so cruel for talking about governesses knowing that Jane was in the room on the witchy board one up for u Mr Rochester for taking up for your girl.
Love the Scottish Deerhound!
Sexy man and a Scottish Deerhound! Does it get any better?
I know nothing of love sir! Wow! She smacked him with his very words:
„You never felt jealousy, did you, Miss Eyre? Of course not: I
need not ask you; because you never felt love.“
@mazzie50 lawlz. Idiot? Hah. IF you haven’t noticed, he KNOWS that she loves him. lol Have you not noticed the many teasings and conversations he has with Jane? aka „flirtings“ with Jane? Especially that scene after Jane saved him from that fire. -w-
@jamma77 download realplayer and you’ll be able to download the videos from youtube. when youre watching an episode right click on it, and you’ll find the download from realplayer or something along those lines. when you have all the videos download a safe software from the net about converting these files into an approriate type like flv or something, and then convert them.
The scene where Eyre is made to sit in with the guests at around 5mins into this is not in the book right?
He says ‘ tell me Jane why are you crying ‘ and I say because she loves you u idiot. Besides my comments I still love Toby and Ruth they know how to get to their audience. Brilliant acting from both of them. I can’t seem to stop watching this series and also reading the books. Still waiting for the DVD to be delivered.
„A child has no more feeling than… that dog over there.“
Lots of feeling then!
he reminds me of dr house
@1348577 How do you do that??
@laurissy I had never noticed that until now, can’t believe I missed it!
im downloading each one of these episodes and am going to convert t into a dvd form so tht i can store it and watch it later….Thank u so much for uploading these vids
Rochester: Why are you not dressed for riding?
Jane: Why are you dressed as Rupert the bear?
But the position is also difficult. He can hardly speak before she does and she is to cautious to speak.
Imagine today: If an employer would court an emplyee he would be in danger of being accused of sexual harassment. In Victorian era that would hardly matter since a a governess accusing her master would be the worst of it herself and maybe it is an honorable thing that he will not presume upon her(or should be an honorable thing but for the Bertha-deceit).
It is a complicated novel
@fibotron85
The novel is a little kinky yes. But it has to do with the Victorian standards. Do not believe those standards were only „good old fashion moral“! The way they looked at male/female, both sexual beaviour and otherwise was really creepy. Bronte made standpoints about that but of course she was not free from it herself.
And then there is a lot of symbolism in the novel and in this scene there might be some, because domination-submission is one of the underlying themes in the novel.
are the two twins amy and louisa eshton
Oh my he is so in love with her. He is so worried cause she is crying what a man.
This series was made in 2006 and i have just watched it and loving every minute of it. Toby Stephens can act and Ruth Wilson is to beautiful to be Jane but they both have both this series to be number one compared to the other ones made before.
This is very S&M, no?
he looks like rupert the bear at 4:42
I do think it’s cruel of him to continually force her into humiliation like that
I always try to figure out what my favorite heroins astrological signs would be? Mr. Rochester’s most probably a scorpion or aries. Cause he’s into women -sex and arrogant in the book. What do you think?
