SX-70 in a SX-70 versus 600 in a SX-70 with a cracked roller and the official Polaroid 2 stop filter
SX-70 filter indoor comparison

600 film in a SX-70
These were all taken indoors with incandescent lights, so the color is going to be a little yellow. I made no adjustment to the light/dark knob.
TOP: no filter
MIDDLE: official Polaroid 2 stop filter
BOTTOM: threaded 1 stop filter
As you can see, the 2 stop filter has the best exposure in these circumstances.
I plan to do a similar test outdoors when it’s light out, but this photo shows that a 2 stop filter gives some nice results even though you’ve been forced to use 600 film in your SX-70.
Sigma 70-210mm f4-5.6 UCII

Toytime !
Sigma 70-210mm F4-5.6 UCII from eBay for £14.62.
Plasticky, completely lacking in precision feel. £15 is about all it’s worth. Works fine with K-7. Soft at the edges. Focus ring turns only about 60 degrees from end to end – impossible to set manually with any accuracy. Lens is crap.
