@MarsHottentot Oh, ok. I just relate to the whole gen x thing and can’t relate to my own. Actually it saddens me more than anything. That music actually seemed real once and it doesn’t anymore, and people could walk around with long messy hair and no one would care. That people could be real and seem very down to earth. I would never dress in a way that would make other people roll their eyes just to do that. I like what I like and hate that teenagers do stuff because their told to to rebel.
@KristinNirvana RE: WHAT I MEANT: All kids dress in a way that makes older people roll their eyes – this is as true of my parents generation as it is of mine, yours and your kids (eventually). Thus, I (you, we) should NOT feel so superior when looking at the way a modern kid dresses – because I (you / we) was / were NO DIFFERENT. I know that nuance on the net is tricky and Youtube generally has no grey area (everything either ‘rules’ or ‘sucks’), but that’s all I was saying.
