  1. Nissan should enter the GT-R in the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race.

  2. @ParisTNDude

LOLOLOLOLOLOL „TOPGEAR IS THE ULTIMATE JUDGE“
You must be one of those car enthusiasts that just read the instruction manual.

  3. @knutn The carcritics and you can love it all you want, the car is ugly. Yep, it is fast and I don’t deny that, but without all wheel drive, it would be just another Maxima, Camry or other ricer. If you think TopGear is the ultimate judge of what’s fast and faster, guess again. I haven’t seen a single GTR win any major driver or manufacturer’s championship in any major race anywhere in the world. Corvettes have won them all, LeMans (5 times) Alms, nearly every year and GTR doesn’t get a podium.

  4. @ParisTNDude It’s only as good as it is because of it’s AWD?? Say what?? And seriously, the GTR is a loser?
Guess you`re the expert then.. And all the carcritics have no idea since they all seem to love it..
The 2012 GTR did the TopGear lap in 1.17.8, The ZR1 did it in 1.20.4.. And that was not on any 100 octane..

  5. @Faktas It may push in, as plastic does, but this makes it very difficult to dent. And it’s very very lightweight.

  6. @StCopley Gees, I didn’t know the GTR had won anything…can you name a few for me? The GTR was run with 100 octane gas on their Nurburgring run…. I don’t see the GTR winning anything close to the records the Corvette or even the Camaro to own. It’s only as good as it is because of it’s AWD. It just doesn’t win when all things are equal as in international racing…Sorry, the GTR is a loser and it’s ugly to boot.

  7. @ParisTNDude ummm actually the gtr has plenty of victories. Im not a diehard ricer fan. I like all cars, but the ZR1 has no handling. While the gtr is one of the top cars in the world for handling. The gtr is just as fast. if not faster top end, and also 4wd.

  8. do they mow that grass daily?

  9. There is nothing like a spirited drive thru the countryside…! LOL
I would love to take this baby thru the Santa Cruz Cal mountains on Route 17, then the backroads up to Skyline Drive north, down Route 84 thru La Honda and out to the coast. Then zipp down the PCH Rt 1 to Santa Cruz. that is my Ring..!!

  10. must say value for money and not to mention faster around the ring would have to take the vette

  11. damn it you tards the GT-R is insane it’s been called the car of the decade and with good reason. Its cheaper than a FERRARI 458 and still beats its ass.

  12. @jmauyou Actually, they finish 160-200 metres short for safety reasons… Going flat out towards the first turn to finish the entire lap is a dangerous maneuver.

  13. In Italy its cost is between 65000 to 92000 E!
Less than a Ferrary F430 and a GranTurismo!

  14. @AllYourBase420 Ok, so you’re a ricer GTR fanboy and nothing will convince you that the ZR1 is the better car, regardless of price, but, ummm, what victories exactly are you talking about for the GTR??? So, the ZR1′s times are illegitimate, is that what you’re saying. Come on, get a life and recognize the victor here.

  15. @AllYourBase420 The Z06 still costs less though! =)
Do you know how many advantages the GTR has over the Z06? Too many to name.
And yes, Pilot sport cup tires are stock on the 2012 Corvettes.

Even your $170,000 GTR Spec-V couldnt beat the Z06 or ZR1. My, …my my.

  16. @ParisTNDude You guarantee me what exactly? GTR isn’t stock? Funny how it says that about the ’12 ZR1 but doesn’t say anything about the GTR not being stock, not to mention, once again, semi-wet conditions and 2012 ZR1 isn’t even available for purchase. GTR didn’t even competitively start racing until 2010 and had its fair share of victories too under stiff regulations… Don’t really understand your point here…

  17. @blazzing4321 A 2011 Z07 package for the Z06 starts at $88,000. The Z07 package for 2012 Z06 let alone the base ’12 Z06 isn’t even for sale not to mention the version they brought to the ring didn’t even have stock tires. Nice try lemming.

  18. @georgethemonkey Ummmmm….let’s see, it’s made in Japan, they eat only rice there, the car is as gawdy in appearance as can be and it’s slow! Yep, that makes it a „ricer“. If this is Japan’s best shot at a world class performance car, I would call it a „ricer“! Even the 2012 Z06 beats it’s time around Nurburgring!

  19. @ParisTNDude How the fuck is this a ricer you tool?

  20. @AllYourBase420 2012 Z06 – 2 seconds faster (7:22)
    $20,000 less
    My my my.

  21. @AllYourBase420 I guarantee you THAT GTR cost more than a current bone stock one. At any rate, the Vette beat cars that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars more than it does. The GT-R wasn’t even a target vehicle to beat. Try Ferrari, Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes, etc etc…Geesh, these ricer guys don’t really GET IT! I sure didn’t see a GT-R with a podium spot at LeMans, but, oh, by the way…Corvettes won 2 out of 4 of the international classes at LeMans..GT-Rs can’t compete..admit it!

  22. Porsche conducted test. Semi-wet conditions. 2008 GTR.

  23. @ParisTNDude $40,000 more for only 3 seconds faster. MY MY MY.

  24. My, my, my….the ZR1 just turned a 7:19 beating this ricer’s time by nearly 10 seconds and they ran the full course not 160 meters short. Back to the drawing board GT-R.

  25. how many times did they have to edit this video ? that car is so full of bullshit you can tell it can’t even outrun a vw golf on a short track
