Entry from: Xi’an, China Entry Title: „Terracotta Army“ Entry: „Today we are going to be the tour guides for our two Bradford friends Ben and Tom. We had our lonely planet book so we were set. We all felt a little bit rough from the night before, but set of at 10.30. Today was the hottest day so far, the sun wasn’t out but it was extremely humid. We headed to the train station on bus 603 from our hostel. When arriving at the train station we had numerous men offering to take us. This can get very tedious they proper get in your face. After searching for ages in the heat we decided to look at a map to find the bus station. We got on the bus 306 that takes us straight to the terracotta army. A single ticket costs 7 yuan and takes about an hour. We have been advised to use a any type of ID card at any tourist site to get student discount. Ben had trouble getting student discount because he was using a warn library card. We used our Travel card with no problem. This gave us half price tickets to the site. Only costing us 90yuan between us instead of 180. We started of in the cinema and then the museum, going backwards around the site gave us all the information we needed before going to see the army. It is very interesting , no-one knew about the army until 1974 when a farmer was digging a whole for the
