Otterbox iPad Commuter Case (Review)
Otterbox is known for its multilayer protective cases, and the company has just starting to ship its new line of iPad cases. The Commuter is the lighter weight brother to the company’s Defender case. The Commuter is available in black for .95 and features three layers of protection. The case has a rubber jacket that wraps around the iPad and includes protection of all ports and controls. An exterior shell then covers the rubber for additional protection. To top it off, the case ships with a screen protector. The Commuter also features a removable dock access door which allows the iPad to dock while in the case with accessories such as Apple’s iPad Dock and iPad Keyboard Dock. www.otterbox.com

This is a review of the Otterbox Commuter case for both the Samsung Galaxy S (Bell Vibrant, in my case) and the iPod touch 4G. The full review can be found on MobileJaw.com: www.mobilejaw.com

will this (and other Otterbox cases) still fit on an Iphone that has a Zagg full body shield applied to it?
Dedender is better
Defender casecis just better
Too expensive 4 me:D
anti-glare screen protector?
not rotation lock anymore stupid apple update!
@wwwinsanelygreatmac I think he means like an office tour.
So, I’m getting an iPad soon, and will need a good case. Case reviews are only „lame“ I guess if you don’t need a case! haha
@wwwinsanelygreatmac no like make video of ever iPod Mac or iPad you have ad all the cases it would be so cool
Can you do a video of the best or at least in your opinion top 3 cases for iPhone and iPad? Trying to figure out which I should get… especially since i have full body screen protection on both devices…. and obviously the companies wont let me try them on at the store unless i purchase and send them back but thats a pain
Pretty cool case, nice vid!
looks like a pretty good case (: ; thanks for the review!
wow, even if your videos have relation to me, they’re still entertaining to watch

@MriPodTouch31 Everything is in the video archive.
Can you make a video of all your iDevices and the your cases PLEASE
Really serious question. As a 14 year old boy with a lot of school work (essays ect) but also likes some of the apps on my iPod Touch, is the iPad for me? Do I really need one? If not, any more suggestion for Christmas presents please
the dock connector opening seems like a good idea so you dont have to remove the case like most other cases for the ipad
Oh double post. Sorry -.-
@TapTapRevengeGirl right now, yes.
Only black?
Black only?
NICE REVIEW NOW IM GOANNA BUY THIS!!
@loliputsIV lol no you dident :d
Great case but the rubber collects dust very easily. Also once on the rubber that covers the camera/sensor area stays lifted up about 1mm.
@FuZioNzxCobra I think it does, but not sure.
Does the screen protector come with every single otter box case?
@jjackspear6 It’s under „Location and security“ in the settings. The option is called „Use visible pattern“.
How do you get that password lock screen?
Good review, I really like the way you sort of banter with the viewers…very personable. But a little blasphemous isn’t it? I mean really, who would cover an Apple logo with a Microsoft one? Blasphemy! Hahaha…but seriously, seems we have a similar sense of humor
Good video, thanks.
Do companies really send out samples to be reviewed bu ppl on youtube?
I am getting one for my galaxy hope it meets my protective standards
I’m going to use the screen protector because on my vibrant the screen felt great at first but after a while the screen doesn’t feel smooth to the fingers anymore. Great vid.
i like my commuter on my sgs, it feels very nice in the hand, better than the phone alone. the thickness is no issue, reponds very well to bumps and drops. VERY happy with my otter commuter for sgs. recommended Highly.
@Gatorbait1337 No too sure, you would have to check their site.
Do they have any holsters that will fit the Otterbox and the Samsung Galaxy s?
@aortizc82 Yes, it’s the i9000 but it is sold in Canada by Bell Mobility as the Samsung Vibrant. No, not the T-Mobile version but the Vibrant, none the less.
The best Galaxy S case I have seen so far
Btw, that’s not a Vibrant… its a i9000. The vibrant has 4 tactile buttons.
@lb2314 Yep!
nice review. are you canadian?
Awesome! I’m getting this for my galaxy 4G!
@hercules71185 Shhhhh…you aren’t supposed to notice that.
I like the windows sticker
@madeffx Thanks very much!
