You being the most recent downloader will be „In-queue“ to get more seeders.. the more seeders you have, the faster you’ll download it, so as the torrent downloads, it will most likely get faster and faster.
Hey, so I downloaded Utorrent and right now I’m trying to download a torrent that I found on Pirate Bay. The torrent I’m downloading has 151 seeders, but for some reason, the download is still really slow. As of right now, it’s been 11 minutes, and only 0.2% has been downloaded. =/ Is there something wrong?
@xxXaiderxx Further, to watch downloaded movies use the media player called „VLC“ from there website, It’s free. VLC is the most used media player besides WMP, it has a HUGE amount of codecs built in which means you will be able to play a lot of formats, every experienced PC movie viewer uses VLC, for a good reason.
If you’re having problems with your download speed go to utorrent –> options –> preferences –> BitTorrent –> Protocol Encryption and change it to enabled or forced.
I don’t really know why I watched this because I have a lot of experience with this sort of things and using it on a daily basis, but anyway.
Just to clarify, „VIP“ are really trusted uploaders of torrents, „trusted“ are trusted uploaders but not on the same level and they haven’t uploaded as many torrents.
If you open a torrent file and you just see a bunch of .rar files then one or more files are compressed to minimize the files size. Use Winrar to uncompress.

That means you don’t have proper video codecs.. you can download a codec pack for free.
Google search: „K-lite codec pack“ and it should be the 3rd one down, the one on free-codecs, make sure you download and install the full version, then open the movie with windows media player CLASSIC (which comes with the codec pack)

find a download with more seeders.. usually if it’s THAT slow.. there are just no seeders. (people uploading)

go the thepiratebay.. search what you want.. find a download torrent button.. open the .torrent file that downloads.. utorrent will come up.. click ok. and should end up in your downloads
