Michael Cassette ‘Memories (90′s Piano Mix)’ iTunes Bonus Track
LIKE Anjunadeep on Facebook: on.fb.me Out now exclusively to iTunes : itunes.apple.com Life hasn’t always been easy for Michael Cassette. In a life of sadness, this 80s-inspired electronic producer seeks refuge in his studio; basking in the bright, neon sparkle of retro synths and soaking up the warm embrace of classic analogue grooves. Since emerging with the huge ‘Shadow’s Movement’ in 2007, he has become a revered force amongst electronic music lovers who yearn for the nostalgic feel-good factor of the 80s. DJs like Eric Prydz, James Zabiela, Laurent Garnier and SOS have all lauded his unique ability to transform past musical memories into moments of contemporary club magic, disco blogs and dance music bibles (Mixmag, DJMagazine and iDJ) have given him glowing reviews, while Anjunadeep continue to celebrate him as their most unique and promising studio talent. Both reassuringly familiar and assuredly fresh, Michael Cassette’s ‘Temporarity’ is the perfect blend of uplifting 80s sounds and ultra-clean production sensibilities. A complete and cohesive journey, it begins on the progressive cosmic boogie of ‘My Name Is Michael Cassette’ before sweeping us up in the familiar synth-disco bliss of ‘Shadows Movement’. A cover of Miami Vice’s iconic soundtrack ‘Crockett’s Theme’ is like a smooth, sugary shot of Floridan sunshine to the ear, while vocal moments like ‘Through The Windows’ and ‘Nevermore’ touch on the classic 80s tradition of classy synth-pop. There are progressive …
Golfview Elementary School in Community School District 300 is officially „Gold with Distinction.“ In taking the Healthier US School Challenge, Golfview improved their school lunch menus, provided 90 minutes of physical education year round for all students, and included nutrition education as part of their curriculum. Golfview will be honored by the United States Department of Agriculture as the first non-chartered school in Illinois, and among the first schools in the entire United States, to earn this honor. When I heard this news, I took to the streets of New York City and started singing… and dancing… to tell everyone what an amazingly healthy school Golfview is! And we filmed it! It’s an original song and music video written just for D300 in celebration of their challenge conquered. The video also features students from Golfview Elementary, Principal Trish Whitecotton, PE Teacher Lianne Tompkins, and food service employees from Aramark. The video debuts at the Golfview award ceremony on February 4th. The Gold with Distinction award is endorsed by First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! campaign to reduce childhood obesity. The February 4th ceremony at Golfview is well timed to the first anniversary of the national Let’s Move! campaign launch. This video is also a sneak peak for the weeks to follow for The Rockstar Nutritonist. The rock ‘n roll nutrition show Jump with Jill show will be coming to Carpentersville, IL for 22 performances from Feb 7 to Feb 18th. For …

@AirbusBabyy oh thanks for the info! i was not aware that they were 2 actually!
@djzah Michael Cassette is actually the name of the DJ group formed by Erkka Lempiäinen and Matti Heininen, but I agree with you that people should support artists directly.
@djzah A real artist does what he loves, and that is music. If he loves MONEY, he will leave.
@troels7
7digital is a good alternative
@troels7 please, don’t. actually micheal cassette deserves some support. there are not many producers that do what he does, and what if he doesn’t have enough support from his tracks? yes he will stop doing it. so please if you want to hear more from micheal, please support. you may use beatport or any other download portals such as juno or whatever!
@troels7 Beatport ftw, actually gives you 320Kbps

Amazing job, Jill! We are so excited about the impact you made on the kids in D300!
@gabdude8 Don’t lose sight of good in pursuit of perfect. It takes small steps to get to a leap, and this step is giant in the realm of school food and nutrition– just as a barometer, only a few schools in the COUNTRY achieve gold. Watch for my next video for D300 exploring just how difficult it is for schools to change. I won’t be visiting the middle/high schools, the grant money was only for elementary. We do come to your area a lot though and we hope to come to the MS/HS next!
Great job Jill and crew!!, Can’t wait to meet you later this month!!
I go to Dist 300. And while there menus are healthier, a large amount of food taste horrible but its „healthy“. I believe this was a bad move. Am I suggesting that we should only have junk food, no. But isnt it a little extreme to make everything only contain fruits and vegetables and taste dreadful? Also, are you visiting the Middle/High schools??
@brizeybri97 Absolutely! The fact that you’re a part of this is reason enough to celebrate!
How exciting! Great job D300 and great video!
@connorman294 I live in New York City, so I took to my own streets to tell the world of D300′s news. I will travel there this week.
ok its good that d300 is making better meal choices, but why in the world didnt you film this in chicago not new york!!!
My son goes to a Dist. 300 school. Glad to see they’re making better choices for the kids. My son won’t stop singing the song now. Thanks & keep up the good work.
Thanks, Jill! Great work! And great job District 300!
Awesome! Jill, thanks to you the word is getting out!!!!!
Jill..watched this three times. You are the rockstar!
