Needs a darker scan.The track here was quite a nature reserve.
Baureihe 250 became class 155 on DR in 1992, subsequently Deutsche Bahn.
Co-Co six axle arrangement, power output 5400KW . 273 entered service between 1977 and 1984 built by LEW Hennigsdorf outside Berlin.
Heavens above, that is my cycling companion for this tour of the DDR, Graham, sitting on the benchstaring straight ahead.. How could he have been so uninterested in the Reichsbahn?! (Our bikes by then had been entrusted to the Reichsbahn to send them back over the border to Hannover)
