Susan Boyle (QVC) „Autumn Leaves“ & „Someone To Watch Over Me“ (12 Oct 11)
A very special appearance by Susan! QVC aired two never-before-seen performances of „Autumn Leaves“ and „Someone To Watch Over Me“ plus a brand new interview with Susan. Pre-order her new album from QVC and you’ll also get a bonus 4 song sampler CD which includes two new exclusive tracks—“You Are My Sunshine“ and „Don’t Give Up On Me“—plus two of Susan’s biggest hits—“Perfect Day“ and „I Dreamed A Dream.“ Susan’s album is released on 1 Nov 2011 in the US
Susan made history by being the first female artist to have simultaneous albums reach No. 1 in both the U.S. and UK- twice, in less than 12 months.
She was also the first „solo“ artist to have achieved this record… the last „group“ to accomplish that were the Beatles in 1969 and the Monkees in 1967.
Even though the guys needed to do some fact checking, they both have a genuinely positive attitude about Susan. And rightly so!
@dossery100 LOL, they’re on their own, it’s sink or swim! However, we discussed that if they were going to televise some more, later on in the program, one of us was going to call in to have them correct their bloody mistakes.
These guys were fumbling their way through this presentation. The older guy was the same one who was fumbling his way through this the last time he presented Susan. Such a shame that these guys don’t do their homework, they just present incorrect superficial information.
He confused the play, „Man of La Mancha,“ where „The Impossible Dream“ was sung with the play, Les Miserable, „I Dreamed A Dream.“ She was also runner up in the BGT Finals, not the winner.
They failed to mention that the Bonus CD has repeat songs, 1 each from IDAD and The Gift. The younger guy wasn’t very familiar with the song list by saying she sung a Duran Duran song, when it was a Depeche Mode song.
He also said it doesn’t go live until 1 Nov 11, he should have said the album isn’t released until 1 Nov in the U.S. Then he said it ships 1 Nov, and you get it the day it’s available on the street. That’s incorrect, because last time it took another week and a half to two weeks to ship.
@NorCalKay It’s hilarious. These two so called presenters would’nt get a job on our local school radio.
Come on USA defend yourselves and your media?
Susan’s fine – but who are these two goofballs? First Mc Carthy says she won BGT.
She did not . Then theother guy corrects himself for getting something right. IDAD is from Les Miserables. What’s La Mancha got to do with anything? These two amateurs should be sacked.
Loved it when he said she „won“ BGT…..well — she really did!
Look at the „Quantity Ordered“ counter fly!!!! @ 6:14
Thank you !!
