5DMKII Sync 160-200

I am having trouble with the sync speed on the 5DMKII, the photo to the left is syncing at 1/160 and the right is 1/200. As you can see, there is a dark shadow at the bottom of the frame when syncing at 1/200 does anyone have this problem???
I am using pocket wizard and a 580exII, I don’t get the same problem on a 40D so I know its not my gear.
