Grooveshark Review: Better Than Pandora?

Grooveshark: listen.grooveshark.com In this video I review the website Grooveshark. Grooveshark is a site where you can listen to a very large variety of music without restrictions like some other online music streaming sites. Personally I’m a big fan of the interface as well the selection and quality of the music on Grooveshark and I highly recommend trying it out.

  1. can you download grooveshark music onto your computer?

  2. good site. groveshark all the way! fuck pandora!

  3. @dSondre GrooveShark is better…
    Spotify cost money

  4. yes but … major but… the organisation of the albums is terrible. for example, look up bob marley and u have only some of the albums labelled wrong, missing tracks and with tracks that are not definitive versions – sometimes missing the vocals or live recordings. it is a kinda junk yard. classical music is even worse. incomplete albums, so much missing detail. We7 and Spotify so much better.. but u gotta pay a little. this is nothing like itunes!!

  5. It doesnt have the beatles

  6. zomg love grooveshark has made music cloud computing music made epic.

  7. can u help me
    i cant open groove shark

  8. @ProphetAnonymous Wow, you either have the patience of a 5 year old or you are just saying this out of spite.

Take a chill pill and try to not freak out at how user friendly the site actually can be. Patience…

  9. Grooveshark is terrible. It isn’t user friendly at all, and It’s not very good at queuing music I like. I pretty much dislike everything it throws at me.

  10. @dSondre it’s the same only for people from europe alot cheaper because you pay in dollars and not in euro’s and grooveshark have more type of music .. at least what I like =)

  11. @duncan33303 I don’t think it will ever be :(

  12. @newsgod4life I agree. You get what you don’t want.

  13. @macdrizzle051 Wow. Some songs I can’t even get to play at all let alone 5 seconds.

Whenever they release a new album sometimes the songs halfway down will have error problems.

  14. Message from Grooveshark: What happened to the Grooveshark iPhone app?

Grooveshark for iPhone was officially released into the App Store on August 11th. After a few fun days of giving you guys a great music service on your iPhone, Grooveshark for iPhone was pulled from the store 5 days later.

We’re doing everything we can to get the app back in the hands of our awesome users—you guys—and have stocked enough energy drinks to fuel a mission to Mars. To read more, check out our blog.

  15. @bones0612 look it up… i can upload dude.

  16. @bones0612 THE APP IS GONE!!! IF YOU SSH INTO YOUR IPOD FIND THE APP I CAN GET IT BACK IN CYDIA AND WE CAN GET MONEY FOR IT :p JK

  17. @bones0612 DUDE THE APP IS GONE!!! SSH INTO YOUR IPOD AND COPY THE FolDER OF THE GROOVESHARK APP ONTO YOUR DESKTOP UPLOAD IT TO MEDIAFIRE AND THEN WE CAN REVIVE THE GROOVESHARK APP!

  18. they need to add a report feature to broken songs because some of them will play like the first 5 seconds then skip to the next track

  19. I have VIP on Grooveshark and it’s pretty damn cool, i love the service and I have it on my ipod touch. :) if you don’t have VIP you can only listen to 50 songs on the mobile version then that’s it, but i can listen to as many as I want.

  20. I prefer We7, very easy to find artist and listen to whole albums at once
Its available in the UK but I’m not sure where else

  21. This is great dude!
