That’s the downward spiral we’re in, for sure.
Very true, but they’re coming in to our store and yelling and screaming and throwing stuff at us because we won’t return things that had ‘FINAL SALE’ stamped on them, or give them the price they want. We finally get to treat customers the way they’ve been treating us all these years.
Oh, I have people throw things at me at a daily basis. I live in New York, so if you think Oklahoma is nasty…haha.

you are right about the layoffs the number is high and its getting worse the bad thing is that most cant get a job do to frez hire aka no one hiring no job openings this is bad an is just geting worse
the coustmers are finaly getting the bad service that they were not geting before even thow thay sad it was the worst
I work at Circuit city 3260 in Oklahoma…The customers here have been so mean….I had a guy throw a a game at me today for having to stand in line …….I hate being here now I was going to quit but I’m hanging in for my team.hope you don’t have to deal with the assholes i’ve had to.
Haha, I love the idea for that sign! Yes, I have to admit that even for me, as someone who promised and tried their best to stay completely positive and hard-working, its been impossible to keep that up. Customers are extremely cruel, and I really wish I had the ability to disregard them, but my managers would flip out on me =D
I work at Ccity to In California. The customers are assholes but i like how we ignore them and we sometime play tricks on them. There is no longer i any motivation in the store. It’s pretty depressing to see the store getting empty and much more empty. I think im tired of hearing when will we close its like a slap in the face. So we put up a big sign saying not to ask cause we dont know hahah
Cameras in general are precision instruments, so they get banged up just a little bit and they won’t work the same ever again. Plus, I couldn’t afford the protection plan on my Sony LOL. I’m hoping to make some money off of my photography, so I considered the camera an investment of sorts.
I’m the same way about my digital camera, because most of the good ones are no longer made, at least when it comes to Canon, anyway.
I have the Sony DSC-H50. It’s a long-zoom camera, very expensive. I’m paranoid about its safety lol

What kind of camera do you use? I use a Canon Powershot A610. I’d like to hear your opinion on how Canon has changed it’s camera models. The A600 and A700 series is no longer made. The last of these greats was the A720IS and A650IS. They have been replaced by the A1000/A2000IS, which as you have seen, lack much of the manual control and are much smaller. Because of this change there is alot less to look at with cameras.
It was pretty busy when I was in there Monday, was looking at cameras, though there was nothing there I was interested in. The SX110IS was $230 but it was still cheaper in JR at $208. Thats a nice cam but it doesn’t appear there is an ability to mount a lens adapter to use for filters.
Canon has cut production on alot of their models, alot of the A series have been cut back. Certainly manufacturers cutting models hurts retailers. The A600 series with the flex LCD was the best.
Not all of us get paid if let go before the march 31st I work in Va so we dont have the warn act but yeah I feel ur pain its hard to know that ur gonna lose ur 2nd family soon! RIP Ccity

From what I saw on the associate forum the cars are potentially gonna be sold off, so if you ask about it you could be on the list get an offer for them. I don’t want our Scion after what the shop did to it recently…..drifting in the snow.
