Day 85: Equeena
So the roller-blading has quickly come back to haunt me: my back is in some severe pain. Something is out, tweaked, or just outrageously swollen/irritated. *shrug* I don’t know, it’s my back, so I can’t really inspect it.
Jonathan was quick to recommend a visit to Dr. Zimmerman, which may very well be the necessary move. Meanwhile mom had me go get her TENS unit, so I’m currently all wired up (Colin tried to get some stuff back in alignment while I was there, too… but the muscles are too tight or swollen, although there was quite a bit of flexibility over all, which is a good sign.)
Basically it’s just really frustrating to seemingly forever have to deal with the aftermath of an auto accident I had nothing to do with… my back will never be the same, it’s just too delicate to take for granted!

More Progress Made on Temporary Work Bridge, New I-85 Bridges over Yadkin River
Crews building the new I-85 North and South bridges over the Yadkin River in Davidson and Rowan counties have constructed 48 support columns, which are the concrete pillars sticking out of the ground in this photo, so far. They have 92 left to build.
Crews have also made great progress on the temporary work bridge, which is the wooden structure seen to the right of the concrete columns. Workers are using it as the platform from which they build the I-85 bridges. At this time, they have less than 300 feet left of the temporary bridge to construct and should be finished in June 2011.
