Mobile Phone Evolution – Future Technology

A Video created by Future Technology, about Communication Technology. Courtesy of BBC, Cadbury, E2Save and EMI (Potentially).

Android 3.2 finally comes to the Motorola XOOM 3G. This update allows you to access the MicroSD card slot and zoom applications to fit the full screen. Also included in this update, but not affecting the XOOM, is support for different screen sizes and aspect ratios. Music courtesy of incompetech.com.

  7. @TechHarvest Ok keep me posted on this. If writing to SD within the xoom enviroment is not possible then i will stay with 3.1 instead. But i have also heard that this problem only happens to the US wifi version. I’m using a 3G version and so is you so i guess you are the only one that can help me out on that. thnks in advance.

  9. @Stonely1974 I’ll have to look into that. Right now I’m without power because of hurricane Irene. It could be Saturday before I get power back.

  10. Hi i read in the forum somewhere that after upgrading to 3.2 from 3.1 user will lost the ability to write to the SD card inside the xoom enviroment. Reading from SD is still possible but writing to SD user will have to do so via the USB cable and not within the xoom enviroment. Can you confirm whether this is true?

  11. @overbroadminds There are a wide variety of apps available. I might not be the best person to ask on this because I only use a handful of apps generally. If anyone here has any suggestions, feel free to share.

  12. I also have a xoom and I was just wondering, what apps would you recommend me to get on it to use it to its full potential?

  25. @JayBomb999 Interesting question. I never really noticed a glaring problem with the portrait mode frame rate to begin with. Swiping is quite smooth after the update though. I just tried it.
