Minecraft fps problem
fps in minecraft drops randomly. Sometimes I can go ten minutes without this happening, and some times I can’t go ten seconds without this happening. Fps is limited at 60 while fraps is recording, with fraps off I usually get around 200-300 fps. I no longer have the problem after a recent update.
@TheMrMime22 Nah i have 2nd gen i3 and 6g ddr3 ram.. shitty graphics card (Intel >.>) but graphics card isn’t important for minecraft, and i have way more than the recommended specs, and regardless of playing fancy or not and the render distance, after a few minutes the frame rates go way down until i quit to menu and restart…. i think it’s a minecraft problem…
i only run at 500fps :C
Wow. I get same problem. Maybe the speeds of our PC?? i have 2xGTX 560 SLI cards and i7 maybe too fast???
i have a very nice (new) pc and i have the same problem since 1.4
Mine runs 50-100fps on notebook (highest resolution exept for fog, I like it on normal)
OK so ….
Run your minecraft, then open Tsk Manager, go to Processes,once there find a process caled „javaw.exe“ right click on it , go to set priority, and set ti to high …
This helped mee, hope it does the same for you … Take care
My minecraft 1.8 runs 60-50 fps (maximum resolution, graphics and textures) on the computer and 0-5 fps on the notebook ( minimum resolution, graphics and textures)

This started happening to me in 1.7.3 and its extremely annoying. Any version all the way back to alpha and I’ve never had any fps issues. normally run high 200s and ithe fps drops randomly enough to do this.

how do I get it to stay around 60 fps? my computer averages 300+ fps and it makes my gpu heat up. how do i lower it?
Ever since I upgraded my computer, I got a 300+ FPS boost.
@01kchesle your get Ads of the Theme you are mostly watching so, if you go often on youporn or something, you get porn ads.

My Minecraft runs at 2 FPS. I’m just waiting on them releasing it for the XBOX 360.
I’ got stuck with this problem long ago. I tried even hacking with the JavaVM but nothing helps. And it is not related the graphics.
