All you have to do is take a cup of flour, add it to the mix

@Debster41793 probably a buttercream frosting, which is a meringue (Italian meringues are stronger) with butter added & creamed into it. If you use shortening like crisco instead of butter, the frosting would last better at room temp, but it leaves a waxy feel in your mouth. You could use a mix of the two though.

My sister is a baker specialising in wedding cakes, who finds the current trend for cupcakes „nauseating and childish“. Still, her job often obliges her to make them for clients.
As a form of ‘sabotage’ she secretly adds ingredients odourless to humans but irresistible to rodents. Anyone bringing these products into their house probably has an infestation within a couple of weeks.
Personally I find this a little distasteful, but she’s convinced she’s „improving society’s taste by stealth“.

@maddyvicwieck thank you^^ my recipes some times act up in the texas heat u know? so its realy frustaring even though i put it in the frige to thinken up if i need to i take it right out and its like MELT MELT and im like NO NO and but yea thank you for your help!!!!<3 hehe goona go try it out with my cake recipe i found^^ so exsited!!!
@154Mbweha well wat i do is put about half a cup of butter in my bowl then then whip it while adding icing sugar until its stiff. if it gets to stiff u can add a tablespoon of milk. just keep adding things untill its the right consistency.

@maddyvicwieck ok thanks i know its butter cream but like…mine i use butter cream i mean iv tried all different recipes…and my roses and flowers don’t come out right they are good tasty mess ups for my sister and brother but…i want an icing that sticks to its word! not a recipes labeled best butter cream recipe and tastes so bad and not work for roses and flowers…its so hard to find goof recipes

i made this same recipe just without the vinegar, and it DID NOT come out to 8 large cupcakes. It came out to 24 large cupcakes…

I own a bakery in downtown Riverside. I thought I would try a new recipe to make for my kids. I tried this recipe and they were absolutely terrible!! She says to put in a whole ounce of red food coloring, and I only put a half ounce and they were fire truck red! Big disappointment.
@pieman79 i usually use plain yogurt in the same amount. so 1 cup buttermilk = 1 cup yogurt. works just fine too.

@utopiad4 So I guess you never eat pizza in restaurants, because the dough is made by hand. As is bread in some bakeries. You will be surprised how much chefs use their hands. They are perfectly clean.

How about those decorations? Are you still going to bake it? Are you sure these cupcakes are safe? Well I don’t care.. I’ll still grab this cupcakes!! They look so yummy though… lolz.
Do you know how often chefs wash and sanitize their hands? We do it all day long. And honestly.. if you really think about it, it’s a lot safer than wearing gloves because they give a false sense of security. You think that because they’re wearing gloves, there’s no bacteria coming in contact with the food, when in fact they’re touching so many different things and don’t really think about it. So, if our hands are naked, we’re more conscious of that and wash our hands probably every few minutes.

I DON’T CARE IF THE BAKING PROCESS KILLS BACTERIA OR NOT. I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM A BAKERY IF I KNEW THAT THE BAKER MIXED WITH THEIR HANDS LIKE THAT!!!!! THAT IS SO NASTY!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO DO THAT IN YOUR HOME OKAY, PUT WHEN DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC FOOD, BE MORE CAREFUL!! YUCK!!!
