First off I want I want to Thank Tijs for coming to Seattle and showing us all how Trance is meant to be played! I’ve had so many requests to show off some of the Footage from the other night, I’ve had to put off editing some other projects… So I figure that I’ll give everyone a little taste, and show them just how epic is was 
this upload has had ZERO editing done to it asides adding The Tiesto Logo, flier and some text. I’m working with some great ideas for some fan videos that I’d like to make with some of the footage I got..however I’m also working on finishing up the Video Production of Kinetic 4. I’m not going to start a whole new project without finishing up what I’ve already started (and nearly completed) This teaser video is getting uploaded now though mainly due to popular demand…and the fact that I haven’t seen a video from Tiesto at WaMu giving The Trance Master proper justice he deserves 
Tijs… If you see this… Thank you so much! As I told you in person… Your the entire reason I fell in love with Dance Music in the first place over a decade ago! David Grier is the world’s best bluegrass guitar player. His technique is the equal of the very best pickers but his novel approach to harmony and almost bottomless well of inspired, coherent musical ideas put him way ahead of anyone else. He’s my favorite!

Hey David, How do you play that song and make it sound so good?
With a capo on the second fret of his guitar he plays the song in D major. You have to realize that a D chord moved two frets up would become an E chord, therefore making the song in E major.
No, I asked Grier at a concert once. He told me he always plays it out of D.
Wicked , but no-one uses a whole fret board like Monte Montgomery.

the song is in „E“ if you care, DG is playing over a D chord with a capo on the second fret

Yeah, and to add to it, he does it without ever anchoring his right hand at all, not so much as his little finger just brushing the top. You look at what you said and the non-anchoring issue and I wonder how on earth he does it.

@stephaniemarie3 All of the above really… There is seating, and there is a big open space in front. There are also raised areas in the middle of the open area where you can sit… That raised area is where this part of the video was shot from… Pretty goood view from everywhere. WaMu events are AWESOME
How is the seating at WaMu? Is it all one big thing and you just keep pushing yourself forward, or is it marked seating?
