Mininova Illegal Torrents Go „Legal“ – Diggnation Daily

Mininova deletes all infringing torrents to go legal status. The founders made this drastic decision after losing a civil dispute with a Dutch anti-piracy outfit. Mininova started right after the end of SuprNova by a group of 5 Dutch students. Piracy is losing their edge.

  1. kick ass torrents FTW

  2. And the piratebay was born

  3. support piracy! Stop buying things and pirate!

  4. Why when someone sets up a website do they start by releasing their names on the internet? Did they make the mistake of registering the domain in their own names?

  5. @TwilightandSkins01 well if that happens ALL GAMES WOULD JST BE FOR PS3,XBOX,WII AND WHATNUT EXCEPT PC. GAME DEVELOPERS WILL STOP DEVELOPING PC GAMES IF THAT HAPPENS

  6. the world has changed…. we are going to be like… when i was a kid.. damn

  12. how?

  13. Lol. Your a hypocrite.

  14. are you kidding me!! you should watch some more episodes they download. your just 2 ignorant.

  15. shhhh dont tell them about that 1 :D

  16. Even if you type southpark you get no results

  17. Mininova sucked, and still sucks. isohunt ftw.

  18. Man. How biased, These guys act as if THEY NEVER ever „File shared“

  19. Darn. I only used it while I was working in Korea, becuase there are no movie and music services such as Redbox, Netflix, Blockbuster, nor TV. So very little English media available over there despite the rage for English education. Much of illegal downloading resulted from people outside of America seeking English media content where little is offered. I downloaded the Buddha Bar CD’s on last year and when I arrived back in America recently, Itunes deleted it from my library automatically.

  20. sad :(

  21. im bumed that we did not win the
    POD CAST AWREDS
    the oher night

  22. Sorry if i’m speaking off subject (Much love digg guys! Fist thumb to the chest and all that..heh) But regarding Netflix.. i refused to use them as the don’t support CC. i have several hearing impaired friends. Marlee Matlin (Not saying she’s a personal friend) has pointed this lil’ faux pa out ,LOUDLY. And ..Well hell..i’m just feeling their pain..You know!

  23. @grp504 whare are you from africa?

  24. Hey guys. Theres no Netflix outside of the USA, so we continue to download movies.

I download movies, because theres nowhere to rent them at a reasonable price, and I’m sure as hell not paying 15$ to own yet another worthless disc I only watch once every couple years.

Also its faster, and availability is almost infinite.

But, to be honest with Netflix in the States, I didn’t need to download/buy movies except for foreign films, which is very very limited on Netflix.

  25. forget it… i was here too early… it’s fine now
