The song was a collaboration with one of her producers that has written songs for many famous stars… MJ, Christina, Ricky Martin etc. She also wrote the song with her then husband Tommy Mattolla in mind (Holly Wood big wig of Sony). The point I am trying to make is that she most likely does not own the rights to the song she wrote, and was forced my Columbia Records to re-record it with Bieber.
