  1. you can say „fuck ken block and his drifting shit… this is pure racing“

  2. Great pair of hands… and balls! Pure racing drive! Congrats to both of you!

  3. This must be how those old Formula 1 cars without spoilers drove. Pure awesomeness.

  4. very nice driving on a very dangerous circuit congrats

  5. DO YOU DRIVE A WHEELBARROW AROUND FOR THOSE BIG BALLS LOL?!

  6. And where did that Lotus come from at 4:54 ?

  7. My favorite part was that amazing drift at 3:49

  8. wow that was a scary moment at 2.10 but awesome driving m8

  9. PORRA O CARA DIGIGE PRA KRALEO!!!!!!!!

  10. One of the best views of the track of any YT video! But almost ruined by the awful microphone. :P

I know which car I’d rather be in. Hint: it has a roof.

I’d like to see the same race against the 4WD 911, being pushed hard.

  11. England 1 – Germany 0 :)

  12. @wilkas222 Indeed…I like how the lotus gets to top speed on the straights and runs out of gear and the GT2 just soars bye…then the curves come and the Caterham earns his way back…really a great video that shoes two philosophies in Car design for the track…

  13. @shawncweed … and devil is riding that 996!

  14. 07:45: is that a 316i beemer ?

  15. 2:08 : Decision between being fast or car 100% damaged

  16. amazing!!!!!!!!!

  17. It takes balls like steel to drive one of these apparently … respect!

  18. @dyingangelo nope. its an elise.

  19. Fun, but C’ETAIT EN RENDEZVOUS is more exciting, with its tight urban confines and traffic creating a palpable sense of danger.

  20. @Rapide0910 of course but the driver of this one was far from on point

  21. @RatRodyo Porsches are still nice cars, you gotta admit.

  22. It is amazing to see the work of the suspension..

  23. must own one of these

  24. amazing

  25. @bigben0316 that a porche i think?

  26. @V8Supercar1 I would really like to drive some old Ferraris.

250GTO would be a holy moment for me.

  27. @namybot: Honestly, I’d be willing to pay money to push any sports car around the Nurburgring. I wouldn’t even care what car it was. lol I really don’t know anything about the Italian alps though. But put if you put me behind the wheel of a 599 GTB F1, a Saleen S7 or an Ultimate Aero and I’d probably end up killing myself on that long back straight for not judging when I should let off the pedal and start braking. lol

  28. @V8Supercar1 No I’m not James May but I do strongly agree with his points.

How often do you think people are going to actually take their super cars to Nurburgring?

Yes they will be a few but if you live over-seas your not going to be very boverd.

Me personally I’m all for the driving Experiences.

I would rather be ripping a Enzo around the Italian Alps than the Nurburgring.

    Could you say the same?

  29. @namybot: lol You and James May must be good friends. Or are you actually James May? lol

  30. @V8Supercar1 Yeah, i can totally see your point. I don’t disagree with it. I Guess I’m just getting bored of all the Nurburgring „mi-lark“. Everytime a new Super car come out everybody make a big deal out of the lap it set on Nurburgring.

I can remember the days when the cars themselves were actually talked about. The way they made you feel when you sat in them and the way the car made you feel as you drove down the road and the emotion each car carried.

    I miss those days

  31. @namybot: Like I said before. When you look at lap times of those other tracks, you have no idea of what happened. You don’t even know if the cars were driven properly or even the conditions. But with the Nurburgring and the Top Gear test track, if they have a video of it, at-least you know.

  32. @V8Supercar1 Even if you were to race it at the track i still wouldn’t take that much notice of Nurburgring times.
458 is slower by about 10sec on Nurburgring than ZR1 but over-all on 14 tracks the 458 laps out faster! So if you take notice of the ring you would be mislead to thinking the ZR1 is Faster but its not! You see what i mean?

I would rather drive across Europe or America with Friends in Supercar because you can still put your foot down in the middle of nowhere and have tonnes of fun.

  33. @namybot: It all depends on what I’m buying that car for. Am I buying it to race against others at the track, am I buying it to show how much money I have, am I buying it to drive cross country. It would depend on what my intentions are. No the Nurburgring isn’t everything, but it does showcase the all around performance aspect of a car. I wouldn’t buy a car just because of a nurburgring number, because not every car thats been on the nurburgring has been driven to its best.

  34. @V8Supercar1 Let me put you in this situation. You were at a dealership buying a Super car and you were stuck between the choice of three or Four. Would you seriously let the deciding factor be a lap time it set on some track you prolly never go to? That’s why I hate people that say this car is better because of its „Nurburgring“ time when at the end of the day who’s going give a shit when your flying down Autobahn in a Koenigsegg at 260mph?

I think there’s more to cars than the Nurburgring.

  35. @namybot: As for as corvettes, you might not like the fiber glass rear end. But you cannot deny the build quality thats under the hood/bonnet.

  36. @namybot: Thats fine for you to think that way. But not everyone does. Some people like to put the speed of their dream supercar to the price tag. Some people value name recognition more. Some value looks and interior. Me personally? I’ve got respect for any supercar as long as I don’t feel its over priced. No I don’t think Ferraris, Lambos, and Porsche are over priced cars.

  37. @V8Supercar1 You gotta look at this though. These cars that we are talking about are „ROAD CARS“ not „RACING CARS“ If I was buying a high-end car I couldn’t give a shit what times it has set on what tracks! I want it to look attractive, I want to feel the way it drives, I want to see quality build, I want to see care taken and expensive materials used on the interior and exterior mostly i want the cars to be a dream.

Americans provide speed, Europe provide both speed and quality but at a price

  38. @namybot: I see. the thing is though. The nurburgring is the most demanding track their is. the Problem I have with considering „other tracks“ is that you don’t know who drove the lap, and their is no video proof of how well the car was driven. To me, the Nurburgring and the Top Gear test track lap times should be respected the most because they are always driven by a pro driver.

  39. @V8Supercar1 Me personally i don’t think „NWA90s“ made a single valid point. He thinks like many other Americans that the Nurburgring is the only thing in the world that matters. If that was the case why isn’t every single race event in the world taken place at Nurburg? It makes no sense!!!

And he called the Bugatti a pile of shit!!!!! This is a car that has better living conditions than a 7 star hotel and brings the speed of 1000hp.

  40. @namybot: I gotta admit both you and „NWA90s“ make valid points. But I do agree with you that a GT2 would destroy it in a drag race. Vipers really don’t have great top end acceleration. (I know that from my own personal simulation test in a simulator) Pass 150mph they struggle. But of course going around a track in and out of corners, its a whole different story.

  41. I was kinda waiting for the straight, wuz kinda dissapointed…+1 Porsche driver

  42. i just sat through this and pretended i was driving

everything from pedals, to shifting to steering.

and it STILL put a grin on my face.
what i wouldnt do to drive on the Nurburgring :/

  43. there is only one other high end car is the race besides the porsche and viper, and thats the gallardo

  44. Both great cars in there own way and great driving by both. that lambo was a real asshole, sort of ruined the race. if not for the lambos inference race might have turned out differently, porsche is my favorite but i must say the viper is the only american car that truly impresses me

  45. There were at least 3 times where I thought the Viper would hit the Porsche during the lap, but very nice driving by both drivers!

  46. Awesome racing by both drivers…respectful, patient and on the wheel.

  47. Alright…1 mile to the gallon!!!

  48. Great racing.. kept me on the edge of my seat. both drivers are excellent!

As for the bonehead comment from ducker1942,below, it’s time to grow up, hot shot. The Viper gave the P-car a run for its money.

  49. Man, they should get a pilot licence for doing this.

  50. @NWA90s Yeah that, they are good looking.

But the LP670-4/sv is also a very fast car and it sounds epic and brings a charisma that no other car can match.

Lamborghini is a real head turner and is a real driving sensation.
