Hey guys my 9800gt just died on me and i need a new card,plus my warranty and the card is expired so i have no choice but to buy a new card,so is this worth the extra cash because i was thinking on buying the 4850 instead,plus this only has a hdmi port for the monitor,while mine has a vga port so i still need to buy a converter,also my psu may not have 2 pci connectors(im not sure),so is this worth the cash?
i could of afforded one but for what i just decided to get the 5770 and spend around £200 on my next graphics card

Nope, the work just fine on intel, but because ATi IS AMD, they are sold together often.
Ive seen 4870 X2s in crossfire being ran off Core i7s working great.

nope. any old Quad core higher then 2.2ghz wont have a big bottleneck problem.
