    This guy is the real deal. All of it is impressive, but that down range accuracy with the 3″ .44 mag is OUTSTANDING.

    I was looking at getting a Marlin/Remington 1895 .45-70. To big of a shot for deer though. I chose a Remington 770 .270 instead.

    @CaliforniaCarpenter7 depending on the grain and type of bullet used, there about a thousand pounds of energy apart. the 45/70 is absolutely the grand daddy in that comparison. really no comparison at all in my opinion.
