  9. @Eckofp3 You pay a little extra for mobile hotspot sharing. The software is pre-installed, and it’s very easy to use.

  10. I have 2 questions: Is the mobile hot spot something you have to buy on your plan or something that comes on already installed? And secondly, is rhapsody one of the applications in the android market? I have my upgrade coming up soon and want to get he Evo, and I also have a rhapsody account where I get my music from and am hoping I’ll be able to listen on this phone. Thank you!

  25. @metalwolfie69 Neither. They are usually loaners.

  26. @nhj4416 Only by opening the unit and looking at the ribbon from the screen.

  27. is there any way to tell if you have the narrow or wide ribbon type?

  28. Awesome video —- 2 thumbs up —- the moto Droid 1 is a nightmare compared to this phone,,,, this is an easy fix in my opinion, I’d give it a 2 out of 5 in difficulty coma red to other phones

  29. Is it difficult to put everything back together or?

  30. @pdaparts Well, it seems you got a wet one at least. =P

  31. Tnx;)

  32. does the hardware version have anything to do with the replacement screen you buy??

  33. @ryankeed123 Not at this time.

  34. do you guys have a galaxy ace teardown?

  35. @MrPlaydead666 Use double sided tape that will hold it. Get the 3M good stuff.

  36. I just replaced my screen tonight after shattering mine while falling off my bike and your video saved the day. The only issue I have now is, the adhesive that held the screen on had to be completely peeled off because was so much shattered plastic was stuck in it, so now the new screen just rests on the phone and can easily be peeled back. Any suggestions for what to use that is safe for the phone and won’t cause the new screen to rest uneven?

  37. @pdaparts That would be absolutely amazing and appreciated big time!!
I can’t find a single written or video guide on the internet about it so if you make one it will be the only one out there.

    Thank you so much!

  38. @kimlo91 We will look into doing a video for that model.

  39. Any chance you guys could do a HTC Mozart screen teardown/replacement video?

It would be appreciated big time.
    Subscribed.

  40. @bk5307 Thanks for the feedback. We had to use a phone that we got off ebay for the demo in the video. Most of the time we try to get them with broken screens. Also sometimes when we do the video just the complete screen assembly is available and not the touch screen bu its self. Thanks for the post.

  41. Great video….I replaced my screen with no prob thx to this video….and I save 75 bucks. The only issue I have with this video is that it dosent show a demonstartion with a cracked or shattered screen, mine was shattered and it was a little difficult taking off the shattered screen. But the video was a big help. Thx.

  42. Thumbs up if you watched this on your cracked screen evo.

  43. thank you !

  44. Great teardown! :D
