  1. HTC Evo 4G, Advanced back then, oldschool right now

  2. Ahh… the good old days when a new phone didn’t come out every other day, and new releases were a much bigger deal.

  3. @MegaBuckhunter98 Yes, you can use a picture you take for the wallpaper (background).

  4. Can you change tha back ground to a pic you take?

  5. Oooo ok thanks i don’t really like the evo 3d its cool but i watch movies and YouTube a lot

  6. @urdgk222 Sprint has several excellent phones, including the HTC EVO 3D, the Motorola Photon 4G and the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. The HTC EVO 4G is an older phone, but it’s still pretty good, as is the Samsung Epic 4G, the LG Marquee and even the Samsung Transform Ultra. But the first three I mentioned are excellent and hold up to any other carrier’s best phones.

  7. What’s a good phone for spirit im get spirit in a few days i like this phone

  8. @WarriorGoalie06 I’ve used both the iPhone and the EVO 4G, and their touch screens are about equally sensitive.

  9. is this phones touchscreen as sensitive as the iphones touchscreen? Because iv used the iphones touchscreen plenty of times and i love how senstive the screen is to touch and i was hoping this phone was just as sensitive

  10. @Jensenholic No, I don’t think the EVO 4G will work in Germany. The EVO 4G uses technology called CDMA, and most European countries use technology called GSM. They are incompatible and can’t be made to work.

However, you should go to a Sprint store and have them check if there is an available CDMA network in the part of Germany where you will be. If it’s a US military installation, there might be CDMA.

  11. Is it possible to use this phone in germany with my german Phone provider?
    What do you think?

  12. @conm128 Yes, you definitely can turn off 4G and it’s easy to do. And it’s easy to turn back on.

  13. If 4G drains the battery faster than normal, can you just turn it off for most of the time? I’m thinking about getting this phone soon, but I want to know Pros/Cons for it. Any help would be appreciated.

  14. Buying this phone next week! I can’t wait :)

  15. @partyrock341 let them abuse you some more, you will get it!

  16. i want one so bad and im trying to convience my parents any advice of how i can?

  17. Sprint is my first cellular company & I’ve been with em 12 years come December. They recently informed me that I’m eligibale to upgrade out of my soon to be obsolete Blackberry & I’m having a hard time deciding between the EVO & the new I phone 4. All I really want is the best phone for streaming videos from YouTube & maybe even Netflix & the best drive-by navigation.

  18. @rockxcore1 you can!

  19. 11:11
    I wish for him back

  20. YES U CAN HAVE NETFLIX,NO SIM CARD,and WiFi capable, uses apk files, and rootable, billions of apps capable with this phone,a must get if u want a gamer web browser music phone, Sprint service equals add

  21. Your right about sprints service they have kick ass phones but the coverage stinks.I live in Florida with no 4g! this sucks a lot sprint is going to go out of business at some point because no one in florida can get a decent 4g phone im going with Keefmeister77 on that!!!!!

  22. Love the phone, HATE THE SERVICE. 4g, Wi-fi? Don’t make me laugh. A Sprint rep just informed that here in New Orleans our 3g coverage is considered „fair“, and to expect dropped calls and poor or no data ser ices on a regular basis. WTF! This is like getting a Ferarri and not being able to find any gasoline for it. I’ll predict that Sprint goes under in 5 years or less.

  23. @MJEoooMJE Definitely. The If you have 4G turned on in the EVO 4G, it will switch automatically between 4G and 3G operation as you move into and out of 4G coverage. The EVO 4G works great in 3G areas.

  24. Can you use a 4g phone in a 3g area?

  25. @rockxcore1 Yes, that’s really easy. Take a photo, then display it from the phone’s „gallery.“ While the photo is displaying, touch the Menu button and select the „Set as“ choice. That will walk you right through the process.
