Day 60: Now that the first two months of my Project 365 are behind me, it’s time to take a quick look back. It’s amazing that I’ve learned so much in such a short period of time. While I’ve read about half a dozen photography books in the year since I got my DSLR, providing me with good background information, the experience from this two-month old project has really paved the way for me to be a better photographer. There’s just no substitute for actually taking photographs.

Due to the daily nature of this project, it seems as if I’ve been involved in it for about six months. It’s hard to imagine that I still 305 days left. Yikes, that’s pretty scary since there are many times I’m desperate for inspiration. Even on the too-frequent days I’m not really satisfied with the day’s shot, I’m still learning. That’s the important thing to me. I really enjoy the process of learning and striving to improve myself in whatever ways I can.
