  17. Kew Gardens is right on my doorstep and yet I have not visited it for many years. What most people objected to was the massive increase in entrance fees. It jumped from something like £1 to £12 in one go.
    Most people used it as a green open space to get away from the noise and bustle but that does not happen now because of the charge.

  18. Just lovely, most Royal and grand. Amazing how the grass is still green after the snow. I could never work out how they put the airport over the Royal areas. If must make the Queen go batty after a while. Um, was that sentence ironic? Not meant to be. I bet the Queen enjoyed her time when the planes were grounded. At last some peace and quiet. But they go to that other place in Scotland sometimes, don’t they… Blessings FLETCHER
