@DaRkLoRd1061 for the experience, i would recommend playing both. youll still understand the storyline and everything will make sense if you play bioshock 2 first, but its interesting to see how rapture has changed over the years. also, the 2nd is actually a lot better than the first, so playing 1 before 2 will make it seem even awesomer

i think i’m gonna get this off steam now cuz it’s £3.50, but i’m not gonna play it til i get bioshock infinite on ps3 cuz it comes with bioshock 1 for free… and then i’m gonna play them in order, (even tho i kno infinte is completely different), do you think i shud play them in order or do you think i shud play bioshock 2 now??

Started playing it. Gotten to like the 3rd level!
I was a bit worried, but after awhile I noticed some great options in the menu. And a lot of previous errors were addressed. A lot of interesting new ideas and I haven’t even seen them all yet!
It feels very similar, but that’s the good part! Feels just like bioshock 1, but those differences in the 2nd one really separate it! It is really a sequel to the 1st.

Why would the Splicers fear an Alpha Series big daddy? Much like Jack was able to take them out, the Splicers can as well. The splicers are much more powerful then they were in Bioshock 1 and even more determined to get Adam. That’s why they attack in packs. Also, these Splicers are part of the Rapture family led by Sofia Lamb. She is telling them to attack you and they listen.

a good bioshock 2 review:
1. you don’t feel like a big daddy at ALL, its basically the same as part in bioshock1 where you put on the suit, the splicers don’t seem to fear you at all, but in bioshock 1, everyone was scared of big daddies.
2. graphics are either the same or worse.
3. big sisters don’t come after at ANY time as advertised, they come at you when you finally finish with the lil sister your with at the time.
4. multiplayer is alright, inventive but laggy
9/10????? REALLY? holy crap you guys suck as judges, your a big daddy that cant take 1 shot. Your weak as hell and one splicer is a challenge. The graphics are the SAME.
You smack a splicer 5 times with a drill to kill it, 5 times! Its a giant steel piece of construction equipment, it should take one shot and half their bodies are broken.
Terrible terrible game, the first was great. I’m ashamed to have spent 60$ on it.
Look at 4:21, 3 pistol shots and health is half down! Bullshit!
