Waterloo & City line – Bank to Waterloo
I was bored so decided to film this quiet and short journey. This is the 4 minute trip from Bank to Waterloo on an empty carriage of a Waterloo and City line 1992 stock train.

I rode this little shuttle both ways during my LU trip ten years ago (Nov 15-20 2001). Back then this stock was still picked out in the Central interior colours and had the National Rail blue livery outside. I rather like the turquoise colour scheme for the 92TS as compared to the garish red on the Central. But that’s the line colour and you can’t do much of it. Thanks for posting this one!
@billywhite1231998 That might be the wheels making music as the train rounds the curve coming into Waterloo. That one’s pretty tight – only a few chains at best.
at the last station the train sounds its whistle why?
Are these trains ATO too?
@FINALDEST1 That would be interesting – relieving the overcrowded Central line in the Bank area.
I wish this line was extended to liverpool street
@alstorm1996 Yeah it does
@amiausUSA Awesome.
@kieron1997 Thanks!
The line is so quiet when it’s not rush hour. No wonder why it closes early.
this is great – favourited
The line seems to have a lot of curves in it.
Since then the the whole line and trains have been modernised
On Thursday 9th January 1997 I rode this train the opposite direction. This video brings back nice memories. Thanks for posting this!
