It is just really frustrating that this song has a quarter of a billion views, whereas there are thousands of other songs which are so much better yet don’t have nearly as many.

@immortalfootballer26 What am I missing out on? I still listen to others who are talented, for example muse, coldplay and even if they are general alternative bands they still are good. I just think this song isn’t as bad as you’re making it out to be.

@jjoeshaw Yeah but this song is repetitive in a painful fashion. I understand that a lot of songs have the same structure, but there is at least some melody and decent lyrics behind the actual good ones. Fireworks as a metaphor is just silly and annoying.
Tone is the word I wish to use. The only melody in this song is Katy’s actual singing, which doesn’t really match the backing music all that well. Anyone that has actually heard some decent music would agree.
