Great Video. This case is VERY IMPORTANT for the future of our country for many reasons. They should all be investigated. If they have nothing to hide then why fight an investigation? This was an illegal, preemptive seizure (similar to the preemptive war doctrine of Bush administration) that ruined hundreds of thousands of lives. WAMU was „well capitalized“ by regulatory standards the very day this theft occurred. Research and share your findings for the sake of our country and free enterprise.

I worked for Wamu and I must say they cared about their customers, and employees, 10 times more than Chase ever will.
Looks like our February 8t, 2011 court date, where WaMu equity holders will once again petition the court unseal sealed documents, will be huge. Also on the agenda is a motion filed by equity allowing them to depose the four hedge funds whom equity is accusing of insider trading. JPM and the FDIC want releases from all parties as part of he Global Settlement Agreement. We equity holders demand that we be paid for any such releases. Stay tuned. Things are starting to heat up.

If I had the money I would lawyer up and sue JPM and FDIC. They knew that timing is everything and Treasury did give and let it fail.
Is this possibly why my house payment went UP seventy dollars a month? Shortly after WAMU went under last fall (2008), my mortgage payment went from $700.00 per month to $770.00 per month.
Couple things:
I am and was diversified but as you know the whole market went south over the past 12 months.
Wamu is the biggest loss in my portfolio.
Held them for 8+ years and it used to be a good investment with decent dividend returns.
As we learned by now the topic has changed from return on investment to return of investment…

I got very pist off this shit happend and i blamed the Secretary treasury Paulson for not helping Kerry Killinger to avoid WaMu from losing it’s bank to JPMorgan Chase. I was banking with WaMu and i was loved that bank. I hope that Washington Mutual Inc that survived by the chapter 11 bankrupty will becomte a bank holding company again in the future and will become the way it was before. I will just keep on praying.
Kerry Killinger, not very smart but very political, ran a company that lost money. WaMu lived large on predatory lending and the company was illiquid.
We’ve lost 75k USD in this one-of-a-kind bank robbery orchestrated by JPM and the FDIC.
We can only hope that those who colluded to destroy WaMu and wipe out its shareholders will land where they below – in prison… or better hanging.

Welcome to the third world in North America. I lost 50 K$ on Wamu because of that illegal seizure which is the first time in history a company get ripped by a competitor without shareholders receiving money. This country is completely sick and the worst is yet to come sadly…

The WaMu where I live was signing up these illegal alien day laborers for home loans. I recognized the very same guys I would see in front of the Home Depot. Some would be signing for $500,000.00 loans while they were covered in grass shavings from mowing someone’s lawn. All those loans defaulted, and we are now paying the price.
The rotten economy brought down washington mutual and that means no more award winning hillarious commercials
