Ridiculous! There doesn’t seem to be any silicone wrapping on my case. It’s all firmly attached. This is the stupidest product ever! It needs to come with an opener or at least instructions. I see a piece of paper inside the box but cannot get to it (even tried a tweezer but it’s wedged in there well). Guess I’ll look for another video or take it back to the store and make THEM put it on my phone for me.

I just got my first iPhone ever (4S) and got the otterbox defender because I have a nasty habit of dropping my phone — I spent probably 15 minutes trying to figure out how to open it until I googled. Thanks for the tutorial!!
@duIIb0y This case doesn’t have air bubbles. Otterbox made it so it wouldn’t have that problem. I have 2(white & black) and I haven’t had that problem so far.

how do i get the air bubbles out from the screen protector? just deal with it or is there a way?
Will 90 degree angle earphones work fine with this case. I have the iPhone 4 and I’m highly thinking about purchasing this case but I’m concerned about the earphones…..

i bought the defender series for my Iphone 3 and I recently bought the same defender seires for my Iphone4s. The most reliable and easy to carry around(since it’s not too bulky). So now, I know thtat my iphone is safe and scratch free forever

not happy at all with my case…gave it away…instead use a Switcheasy case…so much easier to use…do not like the way the otterbox scratched my glass on the front due to the hard plastic in contact with the glass…other than that…it protected…just not in love with it. Do like my iphone case…
not bad…i returned mine…and got the Switcheasy Canvas….totally well thought out and well made.

I love the OtterBox for my iPhone 4s due to the massive protection. This one doesn’t seem to live up to OtterBox standards. I hope I am reassured.

@OtterBoxTV what sort of screen protector is it? Is it hte same type as you have on the iPhone defender cases, or is it a stick-on type which is hard to apply and can can trap air bubbles?
@RichardMoreno24 The Defender for the iPad2 does not have the built in screen protector the way that the iPhone version does. If you order from our website, the screen protector is included!
Does the defender case for the iPad 2 need a screen protector for it? The defender series for iphone 4 did not.

Loving the case. But the clips on the case for tune screen protector are snapping off and I have not dropped the case at all. Doesn’t seem reliable..

Is there a protective case to rival the otterbox defender for either iPone 4 or iPad 2? I think not! they all suck except otterbox defender love mine on my iPhone 4 best case ever.
For some odd reason, the silicone head phone jack to fit there perfectly. I noticed that yours fit well. Any tips??
Why is there no built in screen protector??? That, honestly, was the best feature of your products. Unfortunately it leaves me looking for another option. Please understand that the screen needs protection as well (and not those ridiculous peel and stick nonsense).
