Northwest’s old DC-9-30 lowers it’s front landing gear on runway 24R. It started life with Republic Airlines before Northwest took it over.

Photo: A Northwest DC-9-32 built in 1973 for North Central Airlines. This plane is long out of production but still flies for some carriers like NWA. In today’s world a DC-9 would be replaced by a larger regional jet like a CRJ-700 or EMB-170 which carry roughly the same amount of passengers.

Class 80 CFR on a service to Intorsura buzaului 622 of these locomotives were delivered from the 23rd August factory. The electric locomotive behind the carriages is 060 EA1 242, an electric passenger locomotive.
