@JUSXTREME96 These did had small destination signs….Luminator Horizons come in different size fonts!
@JamaicaQnzFreak Green Lines never used those small destination signs but since these buses were originally for WMATA they were probably going to be used for WMATA.
@GRTCrid3r I do not ride the Q10 so i wouldn’t know…..my guess its 5-10 mins!
@calvin31000 Be more specific about the 5900′s…I need excat numbers and they are not going to Spring Creek!
@Kote12TK Maybe b/c that was where the Q60 sign was orginially @ when they with Green Lines!
@Kote12TK It still won’t make a difference yes a 60fter has more seating than a 40fter but if its crowded you still have to stand!
@JamaicaQnzFreak You’d be surprised by the differences Artics can make. For example, NABI 40 & Orion V VS. Neoplan AN460A, on either the 2 or 4 Bronxbound at Getty Square. I’ve ridden them all, on both routes, so I pretty much know the difference. Yes, there still would be a lot of people, but on Artics, there would either be seats remaining, or there would be a lot more standing room at the least.
Why was there a second rollsign between the side rollsign, and the door?
wheres ta rest of ta 59xx, and can it go to Spring Creek??
@WestEndtransit I highly doubt the Q10 is getting a SBS!
lol so many people are on it. SBS should be here.
@JamaicaQnzFreak how often does it run?
@GRTCrid3r It still won’t make a difference that 60fter bus will be packed also!
now thats a full bus they should have a 60footer on that line
this was an ambulance fire probably an overheat or a mechanical issue it wasnt funny for yall to be laughing thats messed up how bout it was you or your family they were going to to save wouldent be funny then or if someone was inside and yes that was an oxygen explosion they keep it in the back they have to keep the back at 60 degreese at all time to keep it from getting hot or frozen
HERE HERE! BURN IN HELL WILLY BURGER AND ROB STUCK
Transcare Assholes — BURN IN HELL WILLY BURGER
I love listening to these drunkin armchair quarterbacks commenting on the fire and how the firefighters are attacking it. In my 20 years as a firefighter i have heard storys of ambulance fire’s. Never went on one…
O work for the company also and was shocked when I walked into base and heard about the incident. Was barely covered by any news agency. This could have been a major disaster and nothing. The only stuff you heard about concerning EMS was bad stuff. Bad stuff I would add that never would have happened if sanitation had cleared the streets like they are paid to do.
It was the on board O2 tank that exploded. I work for that ambulance company
The ambulance was completely gone when I visited at 11am the following morning. Sanitation Dept did a good job…the parking space was usable.
@elag777
Thnk u soo much for caring!
The explosion was insane!!
I live at wakehurst place (the building with the red canopy).
Why are the firefighters right there like that? Because thats their fukken job.
„They aren’t supposed to put water on it.“ Dammit, someone accidently put water in the tank instead of gasoline. Those damn FDNY firefighters don’t have a clue what their doing, they only run like a hundred alarms a year. I wish a large projectile would’ve flown into the jackass’ behind the camera and ended the miserable commentary. Losers.
The explosion would have happened with CAFS or water. It was a magnesium explosion, coming from the engine block, hence the molten look to the burning crap flying everywhere. If you watch closely, you’ll see just before the explosion he brings the nozzle back onto the engine block. That’s also why the bright/blue flame around 3:19. And also why at 3:48 it gets bright when they put water on it. It happens on every car fire, you just got a one in a million large explosion on tape. Nice.
@CookiiBabeee
I am very glad to hear that your Dad is OK! My hat is off to him and all Firefighters who risk it all every day! Nothing short of heroes!
God bless all the first responders! Hopefully this video will serve to train the firefighters to be safer if that’s possible. I’m not a firefighter and have no expertise to give advise or comment negatively. I respect everyone who willingly goes out of their way to risk their lives. Let’s just hope it’s necessary and not just an adrenaline rush or something thoughtless!
The fireman you see at 2:18 is my dad
He told me that this was nothing compared to the other fires he’s been to…
I was so afraid when he showed me this video…I’m sooo relieved that he is okay.
Thank goodness it wasn’t a propane tank!
I see that I’m not the only one who can’t bear the comments of the dummies in this video…
burrrnnnnnnnnnn
@scayne62 This in reality is outstanding video and can be used for training at all Fire Departments. As a FF I must complement the shooter for posting this!

The images were captured from inside a local bar some 200ft away through a window, probably why there were so many experts! The concern was for the firefighter after the explosion. It was shocking to witness, and the individual looked to be too close. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for these brave men and women in this line of work, no one was making fun of them…I admire your passion in your defense, not needed though, the local bar is no fire academy, cheers!
Can anyone advise where in Kew Gardens did this incident occur?
Why wear the scba if your not going to use it. That a good way to catch a buring piece of magnesium in the face.
Yeah, fire doesn’t just magically go out on its own; it needs water to go out. And to put water on? the Brothers need to get close. It’s FIREFIGHTING, not Stand-Back-And-Watch-It-Burning, genius. Before you criticize someone doing their job? Maybe you should learn just a little bit about how the friggen job is actually done, huh?
the person that shot this video and their „buddies“ are a bunch of disrespectful idiots!! They are out their risking their as to save yours everyday and all you can do is mock them and make fun of them. You will think twice if it is your ass on the line someday. UNBELIEVABLE!!
The only thing this video shows is the ignorance of the general public when it comes to what being a firefighter is really about. The fire doesn’t go out by itself, idiot! That’s why they’re so close!!
hey douchebag, quit criticizing the ones that come to save your ass
