@dec151974 Buddy, you can’t say someone is not a guitarist because they don’t like an effect sound. That’s a dumb thing to say. „Leslie Rotary“ Lol People like different sounds… that’s what makes each guitar player unique. I’m not a fan of Tremolo, I guess I’m not a guitarist.

Played when I was younger….Lived through the 80′s…Have always played the BASS..
Tiredof in time and holdin down the groove…From what I have seen…no brainer…pick it up practice…play. Of course I build houses…not an active Musician. Will resond…hope it helps me pick it up…

So dont say, „oh you cant just play licks or you sound like a machine“ Of course you have to involve your soul, but you cant do it if you dont know sweet licks. Music is about interpretation and feel. Trying to play a song ‘exactly’ like you’ve heard on a recording makes you a robotron copy artist with no ‘you’ in the music.
