  2. @nintendogsyo wow, that’s weird that you couldn’t tell that that was a joke.

  3. @PhilM662 Why? I’m sure Goodwill has tech from the 90s if you wanna still live in the past.

  4. lol i wish I could go back and get some of that brand new 93 technology

  5. I really miss this old commercial! I loved it!

  6. „The „Circuit City“ brand is now owned by Systemax, which uses the brand to sell electronics as an online retailer. On May 11, 2009, Systemax bought the brand, trademark and e-commerce business at an auction from Circuit City Stores, Inc. Systemax had earlier acquired CompUSA and TigerDirect which now operate as online retailers. Systemax in April 2009 signed a stalking horse agreement for $6.5 million which is an initial offer for a bankrupt company’s assets.“ ~Wikipedia

  9. all the stores here have been closed. but they advertise online

  10. So then technically, they’re not out of business (though their stores have already been liquidated)..right?

  11. they had to move all their crap online

  12. hey its Austin O’ Brien at 1:22

  13. Ditto..that slogan should’ve been kept..not to mention the catchy jingle.

  21. no worry with your warranty we never had in house warranty they were always backed third party by Assurant Solutions

  22. hahaha i remember the big red thing being pluged in.. ever time i go by a circuit city i think of that . it sucks they are going under

  23. what’s going to happend with my warranty?

  24. wow…i liked the „where services are state of the art“ slogan…i think the main reason that circuit city failed is because it stopped focusing on customer value and enhancing services (in this they mentioned it as ‘sales counseling’)…if u compare to todays CCity commercials, they mainly focused on advertising lower prices and sales…but o well…i worked for ccity for a year and half as FD tech lead…& ive witnessed the terrible customer service happening…(i even had to save a few sales)

  25. LOL…sorry couldnt help myself…lmao..

  26. By the way, I’m the guy who pissed all over the floor in the bathroom. Just thought you would like to know.

  27. Let’s hope Kmart dosen’t go out of business in the next few years.

  31. circuit city was so much better I always went there and bought stuff, good customer service best buy customer service and staff suck balls

  32. I heard a Brit accent. What’s a Brit doing in PA anyway?

  33. Dang, I miss this store :(

  34. something rare….a negro with a job

  35. @vaultboy123 Too bad the hacks at Circuit City didn’t take care of their customers. That’s why they all lost their jobs!

  36. Good riddance, Circuit City.

  37. That’s what the kmart where I live looks like, it’s closing.
At least the 360 games are cheap!

  38. Gosh dang is’t like the place got „violated!“ I don’t mean to sound crude, but it’s like unbearable to watch, things were just stripped and torn and people just walkin by not really caring (of what was left)… : (

  39. @postal80 I remember on the first day of the liquidation sale in Wheaton, Maryland, the person watching the doors actually yelled at someone for going in the exit. I saw that and realized it was things like that that contributed to the store’s downfall. If I were working in a store that was closing, I’d be like, *whatever* because no matter what happens, at the end of the day, you’re going to be unemployed.

  40. @heavenlymist808 lmao. watch what you say. By me if you said „fuck blue…red all the way“ you’d be shot

  42. Did i see someone coming out of the store crying? It’s like a funeral home everyone walking slowly looking down at the remains.

  43. when i worked there the same thing happened on a daily basis

  44. I love how in the beginning one customer and the dude shooting the video went in through the EXIT! When I worked at Circuit the same thing happened…and the doors were marked „entrance“ and „exit“. Goes to show how stupid the customers could be.

  45. Yea Circuit City was still Expensive even in its final days. lol To Hell with them. Best buy was always better.

  46. Great video… I’m working on a documentary about the rise and fall of Circuit City… check it out on my channel.

  47. It was so CREEPY walking into an empty circuit city. so barren like a wasteland. I loved Circuit City so much.. Definitely my favorite store.

  48. I miss this place so freaking much

  49. I’m glad that awful place is gone. Best buy sucks too, but this place was the WORST

  50. FUCK best buy. i never had so much fun in my working for c-city. all you people saying you got shitty service…thats cuz ur a shitty customer!! FUCK BLUE…RED ALL THE WAY
