@elle4hume
Ya, Who did you bring?
@n5ifi The fact that you brought styx into the convo negates anything positive you could ever say
gotta love that hair
Stairway To Heaven lives at #1. List mediocre at best.
No Allman Brothers WTF
@n5ifi
Well I wasn’t happy of your sort of whiny attitude towards the video but GODDAMN you know a lot of bands I wish I had that musical culture!
what happened to frampton
The title said rock songs, now go learn what rock is and repost.
Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder= Rock? Perhaps Motown And Elton John LMFAO, F’ing pop trash.
Imagine is the number 1,not number 3 .__.
number 24 should be number 1
Yeah you just put up all of the most overplayed songs
you mean the most overplayed and annoying songs of the 70′s = garbage. lame.
Undisputed number 1
@Drakozap You have a lot of snap their goober smoocher. I named bands that I grew up with that all had music that could be considerd . That’s all. Pick 30 songs from the bands I listed. Everyone should take time out to go through the lists I made and listen to some of theses groups songs. I think you will be amazed.I’ll bet even you can find at least 20 songs better than the 40 listed here.
@Acoustiics You think Crocodile Rock is Rock? Maybe roller skate rock and don’t get me wrong, I love Elton John. Marvin Gaye? Bob Marley? Janis Joplin? Stevie Wonder? This is a touchie feely liberal agenda rock list, plain and simple. I have no problem with some of the songs. Freedie Mercury was a beautiful singer but two songs? I don’t think so. Me sees touchy feely all over this. I’ll bet even Freeedie Mercury would even agree.
marvin gaye, bob marley, and stevie wonder? rock musicians?
this isn’t best ROCK songs top. there are a lot of funk, regge, pop and others in here.
@MrPedronorole You mean „not enough of this on guitar hero“.
@n5ifi
You idiot, you named like 100 bands and it’s a top 30…
@n5ifi why would disco and soul music be on the top rock songs..?
imagine should be 1 stairway to heaven should be 2
Too much Guitar Hero in this man !
The problem is, there was SO much brilliant music around in the 70s (and late 60s) Any list will be inadequate. Even the worst band then is better than the rubbish that passes as music now. The place was absolutely awash with great bands and solo artists. The 70s was a pinnacle of creativity – its been a downward slide since then….
I haven’t even named any disco or soul music. Damn, that’s three or four more posts. I’m tired.
I can go on and on and on……………..What about Steppenwolf? What about Rick Derringer? What about Stealers Wheel? What about Humble Pie? What about James Gang? What about Montrose? What about Spooky Tooth? What about Uriah Heep? What about Humble Pie? What about Hot Tuna? What about Joe Cocker? What about Jim Croce? What about Sweet? What about April Wine? What about Sniff’n the Tears? What about Climax Blues Band? What about The Scorpians? Focus? David Essex? Ace? Blue Swede? Patti Smith?
i will survive is best song
ancientnoobdamion246 I agree with you. And We should learn something from those gay (happy) people back in the days who work for fun.
@LozzyWozzyable /watch?v=0lX061_Fkv8
Fucking obsesses with the 70s
voice are amazing!
I’m 13 so how the hell did I get here from listening to Super Bass by Nicki Minaj?? Although…I must admit I like the music!
Bee Gees!
The sad part about today is if anyone tried to sing a song like this, THEY WOULD BE CALLED GAY. Most people don’t agree with the songs because they were more then likely not thinking about why they made the song. THEY WERE MADE FOR FUN, unlike today you order a game online and thats fun, back in the day you would actually work for fun. AMAZING!!!
WHAT NO MICHAEL JACKSON?
ABBA is the best!!
@rasubeats of curse music has a lot of branches!!!
@TonyMcDark i think that goes for mainstream only..if you’d take the time to discover the good stuff you would be amazed.
ah the good old days when we all danced the same
Nice, If you like the original disco sound check also this 1 hour recordings to listen. I was one of the first mixing DJ’s at that time.

@TonyMcDark modern metal is only a bad sound for my ears, they scream instead of sing….so sad…
Dio teach us well…but no one gets the point….

What a good video, really well done.
I never wanted it to end. All that music, Studio One in L.A., dancing for two hours nonstop, people standing on the huge speakers shaking tambourines and waving fans, taking off my shirt and showing everyone a body that had just lost 135 pounds of fat – I want it back!!
@TonyMcDark in the same way as when these were modern, they were copying previous master pieces, learn how music works and evolves.
Adoro! ^ ^
Meu pai é apaixonado nessas músicas, comprou uma coleção completa dos anos 70 80 e 90 internacional…
