@Beau1618 im good thanx i go ocationaly. how are u?
@Beau1618 On some of our more notable bridges like the one in san francisco, they re wrapped and blocked air from getting at the wires to stop the ravages of the elements.
Here in northeast Pa. where I live they kill the bridges with salt, then wonder why they are decaying, they use no common sense, and stop putting salt on.
Instead of pushing the snow off the bridges they deal with the snow melt by putting more salt and cinders (1/4″ rock) on as it melts.
Very dumb indeed
@deathxemo999 Hi! How are you? Oh, it was a great day! Scotland, too, has soem great gardens! Do you get a chance to visit them?
@ballucanb1 A few suspension bridges in the UK are currently undergoing experimental treatment. The thing is, we wont know if the ‘air injections’ will halt the corrosion of the wires until it’s too late. So if it works, great – but if it doesn’t…
It was a beautiful place and I had a great time.
I hope you’re well Bee! xXx~oOo!
A very beautiful place to visit on a lovely day I happy to see you again.
I was told once when a bridge is moving it is a healthy bridge, I hoping your bridge is alive and well for a very long time.
Unlike our US bridges that are falling apart due to the lack of maintenance.
Love ya Beau.
lol nice vid and pics seemed like a fun day out
@alaswoeisme Fun times! Northolt? Odd choice – but sweet, as it’s where I’m from! ) xXx~oOo
@stephenwalls1 Fungay hunt! Ha ha ha xXx~oOo!
Let’s us all go on gay fungi hunt!. Autumn is the best time.
@Beau1618 I explored every inch of the Royal Parks, went to the zoo which was smaller than expected, took a double-decker to sight-see and saw Buckingham Palace. I took a „cruise“ along the Thames to Greenwich, admired all the bridges and buildings by that architect lord what’s his face and spent a day in Northolt. I even visited an art gallery or two. Wish I had more time to go to the theatre or at least the cinema.
@Beau1618 Thanks again for the beautiful pics. Next time I’m in London, I’ll be sure to visit there. I’ve not been to Kew Gardens before.
@stephenwalls1 Smashing, I used to live in Southal for a few years! I miss it come Dwali time, the sweet shops are amazing there!
Ha ha ha, oh yes – some funghi are marveloussly named. Never seen a stinkhorn though. One I would love to photograph is a toadstool. Perhaps nxt year I will go on a year long mushroom hunt!
@Beau1618 I live in Southall so It’s only a bus ride away. Phallus Impudicus ftw
@alaswoeisme As it’s not in the centre, it can prove quite qwkward to get to. But I hope you visit again soon, and get to have a stro.ll around these wonderful gardens!!! Where did you go whilst you were here in London? )
@vinceinburque ) I hope you get to visit it soon – it really is wonderful!!! How are you? )
@robertbangkok Glad you liked the photo’s! Apologies for the music – quite right, it wasn’t fitting at all, but I am limited to what I can use. I hope you’re well. )
@stephenwalls1 It really is lovely, isn’t it!? DO you go often?
That is one of the places I couldn’t fit in the week I spent in London. Thanks for showing me what I’ve missed. Next time I go there, I’ll be sure to visit Kew Gardens…
Thanks. What a beautiful place to visit. Someday I’ll get there. And as always its lovely to find you here on the tubes.
Stunningly beautiful photos. But seriously, you think your choice of music matched the beauty of the photos? What a shame!
I love Kew. and I get in free because I’m n the dole. Yay
