She was definitely not miming for the X factor. At the end during the applause, you can hear Susan saying „uhmmm, uhmmm.“ as she nodded her head in thanks for the applause. Autumn leaves is a beautiful song. Thank you Susan for this beautiful performance.

  27. Very difficult song for sing for the wide range.
The great Pavarotti passed away and 3 starts born, Paul Potts, Greg Pritchard and Susan Boyle, keep the music alive guys.

  40. A TRUE STAR, JUST A WONDER SHE WASN’T DISCOVERED YEARS AGO

  41. @TheSBFII This way is fine, Loved it.

  42. @Normhib Well ,I have to tell you that it is on her new Album and having heard about 6 tracks so far, I can also tell you ,that it is by far her best album yet. It is far more diverse and adventurous, than the previous two. I fear ,if you do choose to ignore it , it will be your loss. Kindest regards!

  43. Check out the music video of this song at youtube.com/watch?v=nMbIFiZmKUM

  44. I wish they would not have singers sing while dancers are dancing. It certainly distracts the singers and the applause for the dancers interrupts the song. She did a wonderful job in trying circumstances. Not fair to the dancers either. Each should have the audiences full attention. But didn’t she look lovely and sound great, anyway. Looking forward to hearing her on the today show on Nov 2nd and 25th and seeing her interviewed there tomorrow.

  45. Loved it, Susan.

  46. @welshboy82 Truce! The truth is Susan is’nt perfect and her fans, me included know it. In certain ways, she is up against it. Firstly, Cowell for whatever reason (professional jealousy)is hated by the metroplitan music critics permeating the broadsheet press and the BBC. For that reason ,they just ignore her ,or put the boot in when they can. Secondly, the youngsters think she’s an opera singer, which she is not, and finally we have the opera types, who love to point out technical flaws.KR’s

  47. @dossery100 Indeed, which is why you won’t find me making that argument.

  48. @welshboy82 And it does’nt follow that something that is unpopular is GOOD. This is plea of the Radcliffe and Monconie’s of this world and the BBC Radio 6 posers that surround them. Their mantra is -’She’s popular’ so we can’t play her. Their arrogance and contempt for ‘Joe Public’ is astounding.

  49. @dossery100 Well many of them do, and for most of those that don’t, they don’t have the marketing behemoth of Simon Cowell behind them. Secondly, it doesn’t follow that because something is popular, it’s good – that would be the Argumentum ad Populum, or the Appeal to Numbers. But don’t misunderstand me; she is generally a good singer, I was being specifically critical of THIS performance.

  50. @welshboy82 Well why don’t these thousands you know so much about sell in the shed loadsthe way she does? I’m dying to know and I’m sure Simon Cowell would be interested ,also. Could it be you’re just sore after Saturday?
