(recommended view in HD ). I attended a Nokia N9 preview in Malaysia and was given 2 hours to play with it. This was the first test or comparison I made showing the improvement from N900 (selective AF point) and N8(fast AF) into world’s fastest real time AF Nokia N9 to date will be blogging soon @ calvinpixels.com www.calvinpixels.com (blog) www.facebook.com/CalvinPixels www.flickr.com/photos/calvinpixelscontact me for blogging, event coverage, product review, photography calvinpixels@gmail.com Honors receive: 6th August 2011 #185 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Jordan #161 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Egypt #44 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – India #109 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – South Africa #112 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Jordan #182 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Czech Republic #200 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Argentina #176 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Saudi Arabia #63 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Tunisia #197 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Italy #189 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Russia #139 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Hong Kong 5th August #176 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Saudi Arabia #63 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Tunisia #197 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science & Technology – Italy #189 – Most Viewed (Today) – Science

  1. @jancko995 N900 give a full website web-browsing view like you see on a PC or MAC (full website look), E7 web browser is based on mobile look ( less navigation compared to N900). Go for a N900 if you wan a PC or MAC look web browsing

  2. @CalvinPixels sry I meant N900 vs E7

  3. @jancko995 N900 is an old phone but still nice, N9 is better with web-browsing as it using HTML5 standards

  4. hey, can someon tell me wich nokia is better for faster webbrousing and multitasking?
    n900 or n9?

  5. Funny N9 is still not in shops yet…

  6. @ccetdany same here I’m getting one of this baby(N9) :)

  7. @CalvinPixels Ok thanks ;) I’m very interested in this phone, I would be pissed off if I was being ripped off lol

  8. @ccetdany We were using N9 prototypes at the preview session that’s why it stated as 7mp :)

  9. If the Nokia N9 has an 8 megapixel camera, then why on the screen does it say 7M? 0:54

  10. z0mg shinichi osawa music

  11. n8 or n900?

  12. @MrRobertoCohen Thnks for the advise, will set up well next time if I a proper time frame to work on.

  13. @CalvinPixels Fair enough , it’s not a bad video i just think if you’ve gotta do something then do it properly but hey.

  14. @SmashGuyful Soon :)

  15. Could you do a camera UI video for Belle update? Nice video

  16. @techdude2121 I have lost the link, why not google for it :)

  17. @calvinpixels i have the n900 , from which repository u got the fcam app? please tell :)

  18. @caribala I think you mean the 16:9 format 9mp in N8, yes I’m using it most of the time so far its has the same feel as in 12mp in the default app and file size is normally 3-5mb and processing time is similar. On certain occasions I’ll use Camerapro which i set 100% quality file can be arounf 12mb and the processing time will be longer. Maybe you would like to continue this discussion in my facebook page :)

  19. @CalvinPixels oh ok. have you test N8 with 8MP performance?
I’m just a noob, I don’t understand about number of steps you were talking about.
What I need to know is the experience, N8 with 8MP, is it faster or the same?

I’m using y N8 as a camera now and uploading 12Mp is kinda bad for my *bandwidth* health.

  20. N8 is the f*cking winner!!!!

  21. @avergara08 No problem …. cheers :)

  22. @CalvinPixels i see. thanks for clarifying :) I can’t wait to get my hands on this phone!!

  23. @avergara08 select AF point ( phone AF automatically – realtime AF) and press shutter icon to snap straight, ITS 2 steps, do see my other video as its the same steps I mention :) -> watch?v=rgSqWxs718I

  24. Something is wrong. I think the n9 also needs 3 steps to capture a photo.

Holding down the capture button/icon on the N9 is the same as half-way pressing on the N8, if im not mistaken. So basically, they both require „3 steps“ as you call it.

  25. @caribala thats my N8 in there, true its on a different league however I’m only comparing the methods of AF used and the number to of step from auto focus to snap. Not comparing the processing time as I mention in title -> AF comparison
