I think that the more we try to „prevent“ people from getting sick with preventive vaccination , the more dangerous the resistance evolved actual virus will become. Therefor ALL dangerous virusses are directly or indirectly made by humans.

@ilovejdm9 any disease can be transmitted species to species, hence HIV, H1N1,ebola, hantaan, etc. also viruses can help fight other diseases, like smallpox. when the epidemic broke out they found milkmaids did not contract smallpox for they were already exposed to cowpox, its cousin. viruses are tricky, they can be good or bad.

swine flu does exist but the reson that scientists got so worried about it beacuase in the beginning it looked identical to the bird flu that killed so many people in the early 20th century but then they found a slight trasformation of the virus that they hadnt ntoiced before which is why it all died down.

first of all, the regular flu has more people affected then the swine flu
less then 1 thousand people died from the swine flu last year alone
more then 4 million people have died from the regular flu last year alone so yeah dont panic
