@microsoft637 i am going to buy this phone in august 2011, i really want this cell phone
i bought n97 last year (i dindn’t have money for n900) the new phones (n8,n9,e7,galaxy s 2) doesn’t appeal to me so even year and half since i wanted n900 it’s still my prefferable device, i just want to ask you for your objective opinion:is this „phone“ worth buying in july 2011 ? thanks

@OnlyLifeMatters umm… because this OS works only in the landscape mode, and N8 and C7 etc. are more phone like devices

they are actually developing meego instead and it will be available on the n900. So yah Nokia, has not forgotten about this device.
@OnlyLifeMatters my guess if they used the same OS with them phones then the N900 will no sell. We all know the N8 has got better looks and got a better cam, if it had the same OS as this phone then nokia will lose a lotta money on the n900. In my opnion choosing between the N900 and the N8 is like choosing between an EVO and a Subaru. Its not possible

great graphics, great multitasking, but, as usual by nokia bad form factor, bad keyboard layout and vanilla implementation of the user interface ruin a may-be great work. Like Android and iOS, Maemo is un*x (linux and bsd) based, but compared to the galaxy s or the iphone 4 this gizmo doesn’t look very appealing.. price tag apart
can someone pls tell me if n900 supports individual ringtones?
can i customise my contacts wit individual ringtones????

@ali2k4 n8 can connect it to an HDMI tv , i have 42 inch.. with a surround sound system, i can even watch if in HD and 3D.. nokia still rules
