@bortous The galaxy s2 is still a better phone overall. The amoled display has richer colouring, and has the detail and natural brightness of the retina display. The S2 has a better camera, better speaker, better wifi, stronger reception, way better gaming performance, and a much smoother and responsive feel and the sg2 is slightly quicker on all occasions. The Galaxy s2 is more durable, built better and is much more beautiful and solid. I have both phones. See, opinions mean nothing

@bnza10 wrong, iphone doesn’t use gorilla glass which is more durable.
@segrain2 iphone is made of aluminosilicate glass and the galaxy s2 is made of gorilla glass. results is as shown above.
@jadanshehadi Yes you’re right it does matter but the iphone being only 24g heavier would only result in additional 0.24N of force. But the difference in the result was huge, one totally shattered and the other not even a crack.

This does not surprise me since ipones suck!
Apple no longer makes the iPhone using Corning’s Gorilla Glass. iPhones prior to the iPhone 4 did. SquareTrade (largest independent warranty provider in the world) reported that iPhone 4 glass (non-Gorilla) broke 82 percent more than iPhone 3GS glass (Gorilla). I’m not sure why Apple decided to switch glass for the iPhone 4/4S. Probably to save money in manufacturing, and to get more money from consumers who end up breaking their phones.

@bnza10 There is no reference anywhere in Corning’s website that Apple uses Gorilla Glass. Very odd since Apple will pounce on the opportunity to market the iPhone with such a distinct manufacturer. iFixit claims that the iPhone uses Gorilla Glass which is highly doubtful because there are no identifying marks on their glass. Apple decided to go cheap and went with a Chinese touchscreen glass manufacturer called Lens Technology. tiny dot cc/0s8cp <-replace dot with . and no spaces

The fealing of cheap stuff just doesn’t cut it for me. To feal the quality of a real leather jacket, then feal the lack of quality from a fake.
Spend a bit and get a great case made of real leather, then get one simply from the market.
I want to feal the quality, I want to be proud of the quality and I don’t want people thinking I’m happy to accept any old crap.
Thats why I choose APPLE and not samsung.

@TheAllboutwin @TheAllboutwin what do you want your phone to do? if you want to just follow the trend to be „hip“ then iphone is your choice however if you want a phone with the most functions and easy to use then the S2. iphone is very reliant on itunes to sync your data while the S2 isnt. it really depends on what you need it for. if you have anymore questions then let me know. i have friends that have the iphone 4s and i have the S2 so i can answer ur questions from experience
